The ground of Hel trembled.

A luminous crack tore through the air, and in the midst of a golden flash, Odin Allfather appeared. His arrival dragged with it a freezing wind, as if reality itself feared his presence. His armor gleamed with the brilliance of countless battles won, and his spear, Gungnir, emitted a deep hum that resonated in the depths of the underworld.

His eyes —one still hidden beneath a leather patch— immediately fixed on the two waiting for him.

Vidar, standing, unshaken. Hela, freed, with her dark, majestic aura, smiling with dark satisfaction.

The Allfather clenched his jaw.

"Vidar…" he growled, his voice reverberating like distant thunder. "Have you gone mad? You don't know what you've done. You've doomed Asgard by releasing that witch."

Vidar let out a short, humorless laugh.

"Witch?" he repeated with disdain. "No, Father… she's more than that. She is the true heir of this realm — the goddess you should never have chained. And now… my queen."

Hela tilted her head, her dark smile widening. She stepped forward, shadows seeming to dance around her.

"Oh, dear Father… always so dramatic. Are you really so afraid of your own blood?" she said in a silky, mocking voice. "After all, I've only done what you taught me — to take what is rightfully mine."

Odin raised his spear, pointing it directly at Hela's chest.

"I will not allow this to continue. Neither you, nor Vidar, nor any traitor will threaten Asgard while I reign."

Without warning, Gungnir unleashed a beam of pure divine energy. But before it could reach its target, Hela raised a hand. Dozens of black swords materialized out of nothing, a spectacle of cutting shadows, intercepting the attack mid-air. The blades clashed against the divine energy with a crash that shook the walls of Hel.

Odin's expression hardened further.

Vidar touched Hela's hand.

"Ease, Hela."

She slowly lowered her arm, letting the swords dissolve like smoke. Vidar stepped forward, his gaze locked onto the Allfather's.

"I didn't come to kill you, Odin. But hear me well… you are no match for me."

A silence fell like a loss.

Odin frowned, looking at his son as if trying to recognize the warrior he had raised.

"You carry my blood, boy… but also my arrogance. Do you think you can stand against me and the Nine Realms?"

Vidar smiled coldly.

"I don't need to face the Nine Realms. I only need to rebuild one… my own. The Wandenreich. An empire untainted by your thirst for power disguised as balance, nor by your lies of justice."

Hela burst into laughter.

"Well said, brother. This will be a true kingdom… no chains, no cowardly pacts, no wars between brothers. A place where the old gods will turn to ash, and a new era will reign above all."

Vidar took one step closer.

"Leave, Odin. If we fight now… neither of us will leave this place."

For an instant, the flames of the torches seemed to waver. The Allfather clenched his teeth, his hand trembling around Gungnir, and his pride faltered.

He knew Vidar wasn't lying.

He knew the alliance between his son and Hela was a threat even he couldn't underestimate at that moment.

Finally, after an endless silence, Odin lowered his spear.

"This isn't over, Vidar. Asgard will not yield. And when the day comes… you'll pay for this betrayal."

Without waiting for a response, he vanished in a golden flash, leaving behind a dense, almost suffocating air.

Vidar let out the breath he hadn't realized he was holding.

Hela smiled broadly.

"Oh, brother… this will be far more fun than I imagined."

Vidar straightened, his voice a sentence.

"Let the fall of the old gods begin."

And so, in the depths of Hel, two outcasts sealed a pact, sharing a deep kiss…

To be continued…
