Chapter 114 - Landing in the Valley of the Gods

The massive pirate ship soared through the sky, causing the clothes of everyone on board to flutter wildly in the wind.

At the very front of the ship, Rocks stood with his arms crossed, looking down with a commanding gaze.

Beside him stood the various captains of the Rocks Pirates.

To Rocks' right, the first in line was Whitebeard, who stood proudly at the ship's edge, holding his massive weapon, the Murakumogiri, which was as tall as a person. His robust physique resembled an iron tower, and his signature captain's coat draped over his back, exuding an air of heroism. His eyes swept over Kong and Sengoku before scanning the surroundings, searching for Roger's figure.

Second to the right was Shiki, who had a cigar in his mouth. His golden hair, as tall as a person, danced wildly in the wind. The two famous swords at his waist were ready for action, and his narrowed eyes revealed a calm demeanor.

Third to the right was Charlotte Linlin, who held a box of sweets in her hands. Floating above her shoulders were her homies, Zeus and Prometheus.

To Rocks' left, Wang Zhi, John, and Silver Axe looked down at the Marines below, their expressions less composed than the other captains. They knew the battle at God Valley would be intense, but they hadn't expected the World Government to deploy such a massive force. Not only were there Marines from headquarters, but also elite fighters from Impel Down and Enies Lobby. Despite their confidence in the strength of the Rocks Pirates, the presence of these forces gave them a slight sense of unease.

Meanwhile, Bob sat on the far right edge of the ship, wearing a coat made from the skin of a Sea King worth millions of berries. One leg dangled over the side as he scanned the crowd below, feeling a chill on the top of his head.

Behind Rocks stood Kaido, Jolibaf, and a group of other powerful pirates.

At this moment, on the outermost edges of God Valley, the Marines and pirates had already clashed. The sounds of battle echoed throughout the valley, a testament to the ferocity of the fighting in the outer ring.

Yet, at the center of God Valley, everyone held their breath, their eyes fixed on the slowly approaching Rocks Pirates' ship in the sky, as if the chaos on the outskirts didn't exist.

However, amidst the tense standoff between the powerful figures, a burst of angry shouts shattered the silence.

"You useless fools! How dare you let these pirates interrupt the sacred ceremony!" "You lowly scum! You will pay for this!" "Why haven't you dealt with these pirates yet? You worthless trash are just wasting resources!" "Quickly capture those troublemaking pirates and bring them to the altar! Burn them all as offerings to the Creator!" "..."

At the altar, the Celestial Dragons, having recovered from their initial shock, were now furious. They pointed and shouted at the Marine officers and CP agents nearby, berating them without restraint. Moments ago, they had felt a hint of fear when the meteor fell, but now, instead of feeling relief after its destruction, they were consumed by anger. Anger that these lowly commoners had failed to subdue the pirates in time. The interruption of the sacred ceremony was entirely the fault of these incompetent underlings.

Yet, the Marines and other powerful figures being scolded paid no attention to the Celestial Dragons. Their eyes remained fixed on the sky, where the massive pirate ship was drawing ever closer.

Seeing that these people showed no reaction at all, the Celestial Dragons grew even more furious.

From childhood to adulthood, they had never experienced such blatant disregard—it was nothing short of an insult.

Just as they were about to unleash a torrent of curses, a deep, powerful voice resonated through the Cracked Mountain.

"Fire the cannons!"

As Kong's voice fell, the next moment, the cannons positioned around the sacrificial altar, already primed and ready, erupted with dazzling flames.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

The roar of the cannons echoed continuously from their muzzles, accompanied by flames, as black cannonballs were launched into the sky.

Their target was none other than the Rocks Pirates' ship.

Not only the cannons on the ground, but the rifles tightly gripped by the Marines also erupted with gunfire.

In an instant.

In the sky, dark round cannonballs and orange-yellow bullets appeared.

It was like a net woven from gunpowder, aiming to ensnare the Rocks Pirates' ship in one fell swoop.

Kong narrowed his eyes as he watched the cannonballs in the sky and the Rocks Pirates' ship about to collide.

The reason for choosing this moment to fire was to concentrate all their firepower on the enemy's main force.

Moreover, due to the distance of the Rocks Pirates earlier, it was impossible to lock onto them from high above.

Even if they had managed to hit them by chance, the power would have been drastically reduced.

Thus, the moment they charged forward was the optimal time.

However, in the next moment, Whitebeard moved.

Clenching his right fist, he swung it fiercely through the air.

"Crack!" A sound like shattering glass echoed, and cracks began to appear in the previously empty sky.

Centered around Whitebeard's fist, the cracks spread outward continuously.

"Rip~"

In an instant, a web-like network of fissures appeared, and a tremendous force erupted in the air.

It was like a massive air bomb, exploding out from the cracks.

The next moment.

The ammunition about to collide with the Rocks Pirates' ship halted before the cracks, trembling on its own.

"Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom..."

Countless explosions rang out in mid-air, as the fired cannonballs seemed to ignite on their own, all detonating simultaneously.

The sky was filled with flames, as dazzling as fireworks.

Yet, amidst the smoke and dust from the explosions, the Rocks Pirates' ship emerged, breaking through the haze and descending toward God Valley.

Seeing this, the high-ranking Marines' expressions changed drastically.

Without any resistance, the Rocks ship landed on God Valley.

Before it hit the ground, Shiki used his ability to drastically reduce the ship's speed.

The reason was simple—to prevent the massive impact from shattering the Rocks ship.

"The cannonballs were completely useless! The Rocks Pirates didn't suffer a single injury!" "This is terrifying!" "It's Edward's ability! A single punch from the Tremor-Tremor Fruit has such power!" "The Rocks Pirates' ship has landed! The pirates are here..." "..."

The Marines, seeing Edward obliterate all the fired cannonballs with a single punch, felt a sense of foreboding.

Meanwhile, Kong and the others, watching the Rocks Pirates land not far away, had grim and uncertain expressions.

They knew the Rocks Pirates would come, but they hadn't expected them to arrive in such a manner.

The most notorious pirate crew, dominating the seas, had appeared from the sky.

This rendered the traps they had set up at the edge of the Valley of the Gods completely useless.
