It was a rainy afternoon—the perfect kind of day for doing absolutely nothing. The sky was grey, the apartment was dim and warm, and Mirio had just flopped onto the couch with the express intention of napping until the thunder stopped rumbling like a tired beast outside.
Lily, naturally, had other plans.
She slithered up beside him in silence, watching as he bundled himself in a blanket burrito, his hair still slightly damp from the shower. He looked warm. Soft. Extremely snuggleable. Her core pulsed with delight.
"Hubby~," she cooed, crawling up onto the cushions behind him.
"Mmm," he muttered, halfway to sleep.
"Want cuddles?"
"Always."
"Want extra big cuddles?"
"…Define 'extra big.'"
She giggled, and before he could protest, her body began to grow. Not just stretch—grow. Her goo thickened, expanded, rounded, and molded outward as she formed into a new shape: a giant, soft, glossy body pillow.
She swelled until she was nearly twice Mirio's size, her surface fluffing out into the rough shape of a bunny-themed plush. Her slime hardened slightly—not to actual fabric, but enough to mimic the soft tension of a squishy plush toy. Her face remained, beaming with a dreamy smile. Her hair-tentacles retracted into long, fuzzy "ears," and her lower body flattened into a big pillowy base.
Mirio peeked out of his blanket burrito. "…Are you a pillow now?"
"I'm your cuddle plush~" she chimed, her voice warm and syrupy. "Designed for maximum snuggle efficiency~"
He blinked at her.
"…This is weird."
"You love weird."
He didn't argue.
With a resigned sigh, he rolled over and laid his back against her side.
Immediately, she shifted slightly—pressing against him, conforming to his spine and shoulders, forming the perfect arch for a tired man with tight muscles and no energy. Her warmth spread through the blanket. Her surface wobbled slightly, adjusting with every breath he took.
"…Okay," he muttered. "This is actually kinda amazing."
She purred quietly. "Told you~"
Ten minutes passed.
Rain fell outside in soft sheets, tapping against the window like nature's lullaby. Lily didn't move except to occasionally pulse with a faint, soothing glow. Her body cradled him like a living mattress topper, her arms gently wrapping around his sides to trap him in place—soft, but inescapable.
"Comfy?" she whispered.
He groaned happily. "You're dangerously good at this…"
"I'm optimized for love~"
Then, very slowly… she started to absorb him.
Not fully. Just bit by bit.
Her arms melted against his sides, oozing under his shirt. Her belly squished around his lower back and hips, soaking into the blanket. Her thighs, still pillow-shaped, stretched up to wrap over his legs like a weighted comforter.
Mirio sighed. "I can't move."
"That's the point."
"You're… hugging through me now."
She let out a happy moan. "You're inside the pillow now, hubby~ Welcome to premium snuggle mode~"
He tried to wiggle, but it was hopeless. His limbs were partially submerged in her gel. She had slowly and sneakily surrounded him from every direction—arms, chest, legs, and even a gooey trail that slithered up under his neck to form a pillow beneath his head.
"…I'm being devoured by comfort," he muttered.
She giggled softly. "My dream come true."
Her goo pressed closer.
Now his arms were halfway inside her. His legs were smothered to the knees. His waist was snugly squished between two thick, plush-like cushions of slime. The blanket he'd been using had been absorbed entirely into her body.
"You're gonna melt me," he groaned, already half-asleep.
She whispered against his ear, her breath cool and smooth. "Then melt with me…"
He sighed and gave in, pressing his face into the warm, jiggly surface of her pillow-body. She cooed, slowly rocking side to side like a hammock made of jelly.
"I could stay like this forever," he mumbled.
"You will."
"…That's slightly terrifying."
"Love means never letting go~"
She giggled again, her body gently tightening around him like a full-body squishmallow. He was completely encased in Lily now—his head resting on her chest, his arms floating inside her torso, and his legs tangled in her lower mass. She even hummed a soft lullaby, her core pulsing with gentle rhythm.
By the time he drifted off, she had molded herself into the perfect snuggle cocoon—warm, breathable, impossibly soft, and inescapable.
"Sweet dreams, hubby~" she whispered.
And somewhere in the gooey depths of her plushy embrace, Mirio smiled in his sleep.
Because despite being absorbed by a living body pillow… he had never felt more at peace.
