[MC POV]
As we were talking about Alchemy, I suddenly see a pair of Colchis bull chasing a boy and a girl into a park.
''Are those Colchis bull'' ask Annabeth?
''Yea you ready to fight some monsters'' I ask?
''I think so I never fought something that big before'' she said nervously.
''Just use that brain of yours and remember what I've taught you'' I said as I started to run after the bulls.
The two demi-gods were trying to piece through the armor, but their attempts were futile. The boy skills with a sword were impressive as was his speed his attacks were precise and swift. The girl was doing slightly better her spear and shield combo allowed her to keep a distance and strike from afar. If there was only one Colchis bull the pair could have probably come out on top unlike most demi-gods.
Just as the bulls were about to use their flame breath I rush for both kids using shadow travel to save them. I used the mist to summon a large boulder to and drop it on one temporarily taken it out fight. I used the shadow of the second bull against itself to bind it while I prepared a spell Annabeth was weaving rope out of material I had conjured. She had never weaved before, yet she was weaving at an extremely fast speed it was hard to keep with.
Just as Annabeth was done tying it around the bull I was holding down, she ran to the other one just before the bull was about to recover from the boulder, she tied the rope around his horn and run off. I let go of my shadow binding now that the bulls were bind to each other I finish chanting my spell and shoot lighting from my fingertips like a Sith Lord. The lighting stuck the first bull and travel to the second via the rope both of them were now temporarily paralyze.
I take out two potions and hand one to the boy with the sword since he faster one out of the pair.
''Pour this down its throat while it can't move then make a run for it'' I said.
''Alright'' he responded he look confused but just decided to go with it.
We run towards the bulls pouring the potion down their throats we quickly ran off I grab Annabeth by the hand since she was the slowest out all of us. As we running the bulls recovered and started chasing us.
''Isn't there something that supposed to happen'' ask the girl as she see the bulls coming chasing us?
''Give it a few me minutes'' I responded
''What was that potion supposed to do anyway'' ask the boy?
''You'll see soon'' I said.
True to my word something happened the bulls exploded from the inside out the force of the explosion was enough to make us fall while we were running. I got to my feet first and check on everybody us I went the remains of the bulls. They were in pieces, but celestial bronze was still there I as much as I can holding it in own shadow. I walk back toward the other ready to introduce myself.
''We should introduce are self's I'm Adamas Corrino a fellow demi-god like your self's''.
''I'm Annabeth Chase''.
''I'm Luke Castellan''.
''My name Thaila Grace''
''I'm guessing you two are heading to camp half-blood'' I ask?
''Yeah, that's where we are going'' said Luke.
''Great lets, go together you know strength in numbers and all that'' I suggested.
Luke looks at Thalia before giving an answer.
''It would be nice to have more people watching are backs'' said Thalia.
''Alright lets, go together'' said Luke.
''Great lets, get something to eat'' I said.
''You have money'' ask Thaila?
''Yes, I was feeling like eating at Wendy's that good with guys'' I ask?
''I love cheeseburgers Wendy's will do just fine'' said Thaila.
''I haven't had fast food in a while that sounds great'' said Luke.
Hours Later
''That was great thanks for the meal'' said Thaila.
''Yea thanks I haven't had meal like that in while'' said Luke.
''No problem now that were in a group we get know each other better how long'' I suggest.
''What do you want to know'' ask Luke?
''Likes dislikes the reason you are going to camp half-blood and your godly parents'' I said.
''Let's start with likes and dislikes'' Thaila said quickly.
''I'll go first I like swords, sports and gambling my dislikes are being disrespected, my father and monsters I left my home because it was too hard to stay'' said Luke not wanting to go in detail.
''I like fighting, punk rock and burgers as far dislikes I don't like barbie dolls, rainy days and when girls try to act like there more special than other girls I left because my mom is an unstable alcoholic''. said Thaila bitterly.
''I go next, I like learning, reading and architecture I dislike spiders, bullies and chaos I'm going to camp half-blood since my father doesn't want me, I also don't want my step sibling getting hurt because me'' said Annabeth sadly.
''I like training, food and magic I dislike traitors, be told what to do and annoying gods I'm going to camp so I can train and get stronger'' I said proudly.
''Well, I guess are godly parents are next I'm the son Hermes'' said Luke with barley contained disgust.
''I'm the daughter of Athena'' said Annabeth.
Thaila look hesitant before she spoke ''I'm the daughter of Zeus'' she said like she was ashamed of the fact.
''Great now that we know each other better we should get moving'' I said.
''Wait hold on you got to tell us your parent too'' said Thaila angrily.
''Relax I'll tell you later the Gods can listen to our conversations when we speak their names, I don't want them to know who my parents are yet.
''I didn't know they could do that'' said Luke alarmed.
''It's okay teach everything a modern demi-god needs to know'' I said.
''Wait a minute I thought Athena was supposed to a virgin goddess'' ask Thaila as looks at Annabeth?
''Athena makes children with her brain when she meets smart guys she likes'' I said.
''Okay'' Thaila said to obviously still confused.
''Let's get moving'' I said as we left the Wendy's together
Later That Night
''We waited long enough I want to know who your godly parent is'' Thaila said,
''Me too you made it seem like a big deal earlier'' said Luke.
''I tell you after all I'm a man of my word'' I said.
''More like little boy with girly white hair and petty eyes'' said Thaila mockingly.
''You want to fight me goth girl bring it on'' I said mad at being called boy.
''If you want to fight pretty boy, I'll give you one'' Thaila responded.
''Thats enough you guys no fighting alright'' said Luke.
''Fine'' we both say.
''As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted, I am the son of the Fates'' I proclaim proudly.
''As in the three sisters of fate'' ask Luke?
''Which one is your mom'' Thaila ask?
''All three of them are my mom's they took turn carrying me in the womb for three months each don't ask me how there are a bunch of weird births in Greek mythology'' I explained.
''What type of abilities do a child of fate have'' ask Thaila?
''I inherited tychokinesis a power that can manipulate my luck I can also see a few seconds into the future sometimes I can see more, and I can manipulate darkness'' I finish.
''What about earlier you summoned a boulder out of no were and use lighting like Thaila'' ask Luke?
''Magic'' I said simply.
''So, you and Thaila can use magic'' ask Luke?
''No Thaila can use lighting because she the daughter of Zeus when demi-gods use their powers they are tapping into the domains of their parent's magic is different when you use magic you are warping reality to achieve a current outcome it also drains the user of mana or magical energy'' I explained.
''How did you learn how to use magic'' ask Thaila?
''I learned from my stepmom she taught me the basics of magic''.
''Your parents know about you'' ask Thaila surprised.
''Yea she is also demi-god'' I said.
''That explains why know so much'' said Luke.
''How long have you known Annabeth'' ask Thaila.
''We only known each other for few days I saved her from some monsters'' I said.
''What are you reading'' ask Luke as he looked at Annabeth.
''I'm reading a book on alchemy I have been learning about it since I meant Adam'' she said.
''What's alchemy I heard of it, but I don't know what it is'' ask Luke.
''I heard of it too'' said Thaila.
''Alchemy is a form of magic about the process of transmuting matter into something else you could say chemistry is modern day alchemy'' said Annabeth.
''Ugh what's chemistry'' Thalia ask clearly a little embarrassed.
''Chemistry is the study of matter its properties and how it changes'' explained Annabeth.
''Soo, it's science and magic'' ask Luke?
''Pretty much yea alchemy isn't just about transmutation it also involves explores the connection between mind, soul, matter and the potential for inner transformation'' Annabeth explained.
We spent a few more hours talking to each other until they all fell asleep, I was pretty happy with today I now have three potential members of my pantheon with me. I will help them all get stronger starting tomorrow I would not let them waste their potential especially Thaila. I refuse to let her get stuck in a tree wasting valuable training and planning time.
The next morning when we woke up, I took them to a planet fitness to take showers there all very grateful for that after that we got breakfast. We have not been challenged by any monster yet, but I know that will change soon I'm sure Hades knows about Thaila at this point. They didn't have much time to get stronger I might have to give them power but first I have to convince them to join me.
''I'm going to help you guys get better control of your abilities'' I said to Thaila and Luke.
''How'' ask Thaila?
''By fighting and reading most demi-gods waste their potential do a lack of imagination and effort tell me Thaila have you used your lighting powers for anything that wasn't shocking things'' I ask?
''Well know what else would I use for it'' ask Thaila?
''Have you ever tried to use to make yourself stronger and faster or suck the air out of an opponent you could even fly one day'' I explained.
''I didn't think I could use my powers in that way'' said Thaila.
''Exactly lack of imagination don't limit yourself let your Imagination run wild when using your powers Luke as a son of Hermes you pretty fast and your good a stealing right'' I ask?
''Yea'' Luke said.
''Have you tried to steal an opponent's weapon mid battle or even a body parts you should also focus on your speed your probably faster than you think you are'' I said.
''I should have of thought of that'' said Luke.
Next Morning
That's good you're adapting well I said to Thalia who just tried to strike me with her spear she had been keeping electricity running throughout her body constantly for past five minutes. Her speed and strength increased tremendously along with the power of her lightning but she barely able to control herself. Lightning kept shooting out randomly when she didn't command it If it weren't for my future site I would been hit by now.
''Damn it stay still and let me hit'' said Thaila as she continues to try and hit me.
''Why would I do that there's know bonus points in getting hit'' I said in a teasing voice.
She shoots some lightning from her fingertips copying what I did to the bull, but her attack was wild it is omnidirectional I had to use shadow travel to get away luckily Luke and Annabeth were far enough away. I appeared from her own shadow ready to strike her the handle of my sword, but she dodges with seconds to spare. I use the darkness to make a spear which I proceed to throw at super speeds at Thaila.
She blocks but not in the way I except she creates a shield of electricity it easily stops my spear I launched more spears at the shield to test it durability all my attacks are stop with little effort before I could launch another attack, she vanishes from my site. She appeared next me I react fast and swing my shadow sword towards her she vanishes again and appeared behind me. I go to cut her again but miss again this continues until she lands a strike on my stomach.
''Nice job got your first hit let see if can take one'' I said grinning.
''Give me your best shout'' she said as she gets in her fighting position.
I make six shadow clones of myself that surrounded Thaila on all sides they all charge at once while I was preparing my next move. She shoots powerful lightning at two of the clones killing them instantly two more clones appear aside her one going for a kick the other a punch. She blocks the kick but gets punch in the back of the head stunning her giving the other clone the opportunity to strike she got kick in the stomach sending her flying towards the other clones.
As soon as she landed, they were on her with perfect combination of strikes to my surprise she was able to dodge some attacks her reaction time was much faster when she like this. She used her spear to trip one of the clones then spin it around hit and killed the other clone. She rushed at to other clones that were running towards her. She tackled one of them electrocuting it temporary paralyzing it she tried to hit it but the clone dodges landing a roundhouse kick on Thaila.
The four remaining clones were closing in on her this time they would all charge at her just before they could reach her, she activated her shield. Since the clones were so close they suffered the side effects of the lightning becoming temporary paralyze. Then she proceeded to copy my move from earlier she created lightning spears they pierced all the remaining clones. Now she is charging her spear with electricity she was going for the final blow.
I had no problem matching her I summon my sword charge it of full of darkness I was able to do this faster than Thaila thanks to my training. I charge towards her just as she was finished charging, she reacts quickly meeting head on. Are weapons clash an epic battle between lightning and darkness Thaila technically had the advantage due to having the superior weapon. Until I tried a trick, I've been meaning try I my use my darkness to absorb the light that was coming off her attack. It was working and my attack was growing more powerful I pushed her back pushing her back. I use my shadow blind to hold her in place I placed my blade close to her neck.
''Surrender'' I stated.
She looks at me defiantly before signing ''Fine I give'' she said.
I offered my hand she takes.
''You improved a lot after one conversation about your powers'' I said.
''Thanks, your ideas really help'' said Thaila gratefully.
''you guys that fight was awesome'' said Luke excited.
''I wish I had flashily powers like you guys'' said Annabeth.
''Cheer up Annabeth everybody paths to power is different now let's continue are journey'' I said.
