At the very moment Viola activated her class ability at the start of the duel, it was a clear sign that she was taking this fight very seriously and that she wanted to quickly bring me down. I didn't know if anyone remembered my previous fight but I knew that the first puzzle piece to winning this duel was "defense".
The first thing I would do for this defense was simple. During my encounter with the Nox assassin, I had created a weak wind current swirling around me and I planned to use the same reactionary strategy here, based on changes in that current. This way, as she rapidly approached and made a move to stab her sword, I would know from which direction the attack was coming.
The first attack came very quickly. Viola immediately reached me and despite some distance between us, she made a move to stab her sword. Thanks to the changes in the wind flow, I noticed the attack in time and simply stepped back a few paces to avoid it.
But that didn't mean I could relax.
