Chapter 10 - The Clash of Titans

The world shook violently as an explosion tore through the building, rattling the very foundations beneath us. Dust and debris cascaded from the ceiling, but it was now or never. With adrenaline coursing through my veins, I charged toward Arthur, our paths converging in a chaotic collision of fate.

As I dashed forward, Arthur raised his pistol and fired a shot that grazed my cheek, the sting igniting my resolve even further. I could see the determination in his eyes as I quickly moved to the left, narrowly avoiding a second shot. He fired two more times, bullets whizzing past me as I focused on my target. Swiping the knife upwards, I connected with nothing but air as he anticipated my move.

In an instant, Arthur appeared at my right side, his gun now pointing directly at my head. Instinct kicked in—I ducked low while swinging my left leg toward the weapon, executing a swift kick that sent the gun flying into the wall. It clattered to the ground, and I rolled away, creating some distance between us as we both regained our footing.

Boom! Four more explosions echoed around us, the building starting to crumble. The ceiling began to sag ominously, with rubble and dust drifting down like a macabre snowfall. There was no room for hesitation; I dashed toward Arthur again, determined to finish this fight.

I lunged forward, aiming at his stomach, but he sidestepped at the last moment. In retaliation, I connected with a solid punch to his face. Quickly, I ducked under his response, planting a kick into his midsection that sent him staggering back.

With relentless determination, I unleashed two swift swings of the knife, both landing on his right arm and left shoulder. He recoiled, momentarily shaken, but Arthur wasn't done yet. He retaliated with a fury, launching three powerful punches in quick succession. I felt the impact of an uppercut land squarely in my stomach, followed by a vicious jab to my left cheek and then a roundhouse right that left no opening for a counter.

I fell to one knee, gasping for breath, but I refused to submit. With renewed determination, I surged forward, lunging at him and using my shoulder to drive into his stomach in a desperate tackle. The impact knocked him off balance, and we both hit the ground in a chaotic tumble, our bodies entangled in an explosive clash of strength and desperation.

As we wrestled on the floor, the sound of collapsing structure reverberated around us, reminding me that the very building was succumbing to the violence of our struggle. The fight was far from over; it was a battle for survival, a test of will against the backdrop of destruction. With each movement, every strike, we pushed each other closer to the brink—each hoping to emerge victorious from this deadly dance.
