[ "Fuck, I have nothing to work with here." ] Alastor grumbles at himself, the face of his sweating and bloodied at the same time— the latter being not from him, but instead from the group of murdered birds, that is getting feasted on by his Undead Ants.
His gaze lingered at his Ants that is feasting on the carcasses of the enemies. Now that he has increase in storage, he thought that maybe he could use it on some of the birds, as air support, seeing as how effective they we're in fighting against his group.
It's just that, his Ants are very overpowered fueled by eating thousands of larvaes, which is why they lost in the end. Getting killed, and merely food to the Ants— which never gets full no matter how much they eat. Perhaps noticing his gaze, one of the Ants stopped eating and slowly turned to him, his bloodied face present to Alastor.
[ "..." ] As it then motions using it's head to eat alongside them, especially because earlier today, about a few minutes back, they we're joyfully eating with one another. Them actually receiving tasty food from their master; so in someway, this is how the Ants repay back their debts.
As it then offers most part of the Corvus that it killed... But sadly, that previous case of them eating and this case is vastly different. As earlier he could eat food, non-poison, suitable for consumption, and cooked... This one isn't.
The best he could get by eating this Corvus is one mean stomach ache, or even poisoning that would feel like hell. He doesn't want that. So smiling at the Ant, he declined it, [ "Uhh- no thanks, I'm... I'm on a diet, more on grass, less on meat." ]
Perhaps understanding him, the Ants nearby who heard this stopped eating. Even the one of the tree stopped, as all of them stared at him, seemingly offended, before then staring at the lush grass nearby, not understanding how it could be preferably than delicious juicy Corvus meat.
Staring at one another, they then decided to shrug their shoulders and continue eating. Seemingly not understanding the preference of their master, but in not wanting to judge, they turned around and not made any eye contact with their blue-eyed weirdo of a master. [ "..." ]
Sighting to himself, he approached the pile of Corvus corpses and motioned for his Ants to stop eating them. At the very least 4, which they comply with, moving on to eat at another Ant's Corvus. Seeing that he now has Undead materials, he then thought of using his ability— Reanimation.
In doing so, a blue panel in front of him appeared, asking that there is about 4 suitable materials for Reanimation. There is more, but the System didn't recognize them due to him only having 4 empty slots.
About to click the yes button, he paused. As he then lowers it, thinking that, if maybe he could use his ability by thoughts alone, then can't he click the yes button just by thinking about it? Especially because this System is primarily stuck in his head, sometimes working on thoughts alone...
So he put his theory to the test, and so it did work, not just limited to using skills. [ "That's cute." ] He smirked, as the floating square transparent-like blue panel in front of him, disappeared. Followed by it seconds later the 4 nearest corpses of Corvus Polycephalus— the multi headed birds, moving back to life.
The once lifeless birds that has their heads either bitten off, tongued eaten, insides spilled, skin and feather plucked out, instead gets replaced by thick shadows that materializes to be their substitute parts. Then folowed by the glint in their eyes returning, as they jump-start with a caw.

Loud and proud, the birds with their own egos started to look around their surroundings. Seemingly in both shock and amazement. The proudness in their eyes not disappearing one-bit.
But what did change though is their allegiance, they see the Ants that killed them, and the prey they wanted to eat, as no threat, but instead as allies to protect. Even to the point that theya are ready to squabble up and eat their own kind.
Which is weird, because compared to the idiotic Ants, the Corvuses are intelligent and proud creatures. Not comparable to human, but is higher than an measly gigantic ant. Which is how they survived in the hostile environment that they terrorize.
[ "Sup, aren't you cute?" ] Alastor grins in amusement, seeing their confused stares turn to admiration, as he then brings out his hands to rub their heads. Reluctant at first, the first Undead Bird let it happen, albeit begrudgingly-so.
But after some time, it started to enjoy it, leaning to the touch, before ultimately unbeknownst to it, rubbing its own head against Alastor's palm, subconsciously. The other birds in seeing this became sonewhat confuse, but in the case of the ants, they became jealous.
They could be heard making noises using their feets, antennas, and even chompers as they stare at the newly created Undeads, with never before seen hostility. Seeing a new threat to their head pat time and belly rub sessions.
It was already hateful enough to share their master's hands amongst themselves, but to share it with an entirely new species, one that was hostile to them and their master earlier? That one is another blow, a low one, as they stare at the birds threateningly.
As they seemingly finds the taste of the bird meat they we're eating, or bones that they we're crushing, distasteful, to the point that they spit out what they just eaten on the ground. Their acidic spit melting some part on the soil below.
The first Undead Bird though seemingly not knowing about this hostility, or in not caring, leaned more to the touch, to the point that it fell to the ground. As followed by the other oversized birds that get head scratches also. Screw the old head pats, head scratches are better.
That's what the Undead Birds thought, as they circle their owner, somewhat overshadowing him as they fight one another for his attention. Like little children wanting to be picked up next. [ "..." ]
Alastor in seeing this just sighted to himself, not knowing what to do, as he felt the dagger-lime stares from his 6 other Undeads. The Ants, which is somewhat circling him also; he knows they wouldn't kill him, but that look...
Why does that look resemble somewhat, a girlfriend that got NTR'd, or something-something along those lines. Something which he is familiar with, because of watching... Moving on.
[ "Okay, that's enough." ] Stopping the onslaught of head scratches, Alastor then stood up, as he then moves away from the once prideful, now saddened birds that was about to pounce on him. But thankfully due to his command, they didn't do that, and instead reluctantly back away.
Grabbing his bloodied equipments off the grass, he then placed it besides a tree, as he then sat nearby. The Undeads looking at him expectedly, the Ants and the Crowd looking at him, seemingly waiting for either a head pat or a head scratch.
Seeing that he has a no way out of this one, he sighted and reluctantly accepted his fate. While sitting, he opens up his arms and motioned for them to approach him; [ "Alright, let's get this over with." ] In which they did, almost making him spit out all the air inside his lungs in doing so.
As the family of foul smelling Undead hugged and pur in his arms, their faces either smudged with blood or entrails, in which he endured in. This feeling like torture to the highest degree, but in not wanting them to be saddened, he endured.
[ "I... I hate you guys." ] He whispered to them, before then smiling. One hand dedicated on scratching the multi headed birds, the other on head patting the stick type of ants. As he endures this, for hours.

A level of the creature doesn't equal to the strength of the monster. But the level is instead an indicator of how powerful a creature is as a whole. A creature having 0 in levels means just one thing, that they are in fact harmless to anyone.
A fact that one certain lost Ant uses to it's advantage, as it then bit into the small bite sized prey it found. A green stick bug that mimicks the surroundings that it is in at, this one born in the forest, so mostly green in color.
That visual hiding technique seemingly proving ineffective, especially because the ants are mostly blind. Using instead their senses of smell to hunt for food, just roaming around until finally, they finds something. Which this lone ant used.
Luckily for it, seemingly finding something. Unluckily for the stick bug, it got spotted, and was slow to react, thus its death against the ant, which is savoring its body...
The Ant in question seems to be smaller compared to the rest, but big... The size of it comparable to that of the medium sized ant, big, but not that big. But due to having been lost from the swarm, especially since they chased after a clan of wolves.
This lone Ant have gone hungry since then, only rarely being able to find food. Especially because the larvae on the ground is less and less as the more it travels by— no explanation, it just happened. Which is the main food supply of the ant family, in not being able to find an abundant amount... It in response lost some weight...
Looking more like a dead ant in comparison. Feeling saddened by this fact, it then went and moved around, trying to find any trace of food, hopefully to not encounter a group of hunters. Like wolves, birds, or even that brown things that climbs trees, those that throws rocks at it...
Hopefully... But after some time, the antenna of this certain ant picked something up from the distance... Food, a delicious fragrant, it could smell. So in not wasting any time at all, the ant went and followed the rich golden smell that it picked up. Ultimately finding a small clearing away from the thick weird forest it came from.
Due it primary doesn't use eye in hunting, the Ant then used it to see what's in front. Or what tasty food it found. Seeing quickly an open fire wherein raw meat could be seen being cooked, juicy and delicious for the whole world to see.
The Ant in seeing the food ignored any self-preservation it has, and let instinct drive it, about to dig in to the food that it found. The said Ant was quickly tackled and killed by an Undead Corvus— a Lvl. 11 one, which then made quick work of the small insect.
[ "Huh, what's that?" ] Alastor who was sleeping nearby, guarded by his Undeads, woke up in hearing his birds cow and his ants stomping their feets. Red-eyed, he quickly noticed one of his birds throwing away an ant... [ "Oh shi-" ]
But calmled down in realizing that it isn't one of his own. [ "No, wait, carry on." ] The body of that said hostile ant quickly splattering on the trees far-away, far away enough to litter this newly created hub of theirs in foul smell.
He then glanced at the meat that he left roasting by, and quickly realized the problem. The wild ant was attracted to that, but was then killed by his Undead... Not that he cares though, as he then stood up from the grass, moving to the fire wherein the food from the System is cooking.
Good to eat and is seemingly ready for him, some parts looking raw, but at this point his stomach doesn't care. As the meat looks best at it is. He approached the small bonfire he made, then taking the stick, as he tries to not get burnt.
He ignores the stares given to him by his Undeads— about 10 of them, either be it land type or air type. They stared pleadingly at him, wanting for a bite... But in seeing that, he wasn't able to endure it and bought for them raw meat, that they quickly feasted on. The Credits of his lessening as he does.
Not that he has to worry, it is quite cheap, and at this rate he'll survive for about a week. If the System doesn't give him any more quest though, he'll die... But judging from the behavior and trajectory the System is taking, it surely wouldn't do that... Right?
