Chapter 43 - Ruin You

In a usual migration path, the alpha wolves—the leader of the pack—would stay behind to watch everyone. He would guard the rear and monitor everything from a vantage point. Nothing escaped the eyes of the Alpha.

That was why Claude had been giggling. He could see how much Len had been struggling, despite not falling miserably. The proud Len Dietrich was nothing better than Eugene, who almost cried along the way. To be fair, even Jameson and the rest were new to cycling. Some had already tumbled down and were laughed at by their friends.

Wolves didn't have to learn everything. Mobility-wise, they could run at impressive speeds even without wolfing out. They didn't have to learn to cycle. However, in the world of humans, none of them should run at breakneck speed in the open. Perhaps motorbikes were the best kind of alternative.

It was just that… Saint Emilien prohibited students from using motorized vehicles. They could only use bikes if a five-minute walk would tire them.
