Chapter 66
Han stood firm, his gaze locked on the towering silver dragon streaked with black lightning. There was no doubt in his mind now—this creature was another elemental spirit. The Spirit of Lightning: Thunderwrath.
Out of all the battles Han had fought, his clash with Ifrit still haunted him. That brutal encounter had nearly killed him, and the memory was burned deep into his mind. Now, once again, he stood before another spirit—one born of raw, unrestrained lightning.
Thunderwrath chuckled, eyeing Ifrit who stood by Han's side. "So, he managed to tame you so easily," the lightning spirit said with amusement. "With your pride, there's no way you'd submit without being defeated first. That only means this human is anything but ordinary."
Still, Thunderwrath didn't seem even slightly intimidated.
Han looked at Ifrit. Since both were elemental spirits, he believed Ifrit might be able to assess Thunderwrath's strength more clearly. He reached out with their mental link.
