Silver Wing hovered silently above the battlefield, his gleaming wings outstretched like a divine sentinel. Though he had yet to join the fray, his usual calm expression was etched with a deep frown. Like Kael, he had come to a troubling conclusion—the number of beasts was not dwindling, but increasing at an alarming rate despite their efforts.
"I have to join the battle," he muttered, his voice low but resolute.
Without hesitation, he reached behind and plucked out two of his own feathers. They shimmered in the light, elongating and morphing before his eyes until, within moments, he held two radiant silver swords. Then, with a burst of speed, he dove straight into the horde below.
