Chapter 24 - Chapter-24 Typhon not Xavier!

NARA'S POV

"We have to do something—think, Priest, think!" I shouted, slamming my arm into a falling boulder, shattering it to dust.

His eyes locked with mine, filled with grim resolve.

"We don't have a choice."

My heart sank.I knew that look.He had decided. And when he decided something—nothing could stop him.

"No—no, no, wait! You can't! You don't have your full strength yet!"I grabbed his arm, trying to pull him back, but he shook me off gently, his expression calm.Too calm.

With a burst of mana, he launched himself toward the collapsing ceiling and smashed through a giant slab with a roaring blast of golden energy.

He floated above the broken ground, arms crossed in front of his chest, and began to chant—his voice ancient and heavy. Greek words, sacred ones, echoing off the stone like thunder. He was forming a domain spell.

He's going to destroy this whole place… just to save us.

If I were him, maybe I would've done the same.

But he wasn't ready. Neither was I.Our mana reserves were low.My strength was tied to my Lord—and right now, he was in an unstable, immature state.

The Priest's eyes started bleeding. Then his ears.I clenched my fists.

"Stop! STOP! You'll kill yourself!" I screamed.

But he didn't hear me. Or worse—he chose not to.

I stepped forward to intervene—And froze.

Something shifted in the air behind me.

A pressure so heavy, it felt like the atmosphere itself was collapsing. My breath hitched. My body locked up.

Mana.But not just any mana.

Ancient. Abyssal. Deadly.

A presence had entered the chamber. And the ground trembled with every step it took.

I knew this mana.I knew it.

But I couldn't turn around.

Not because I didn't want to—Because my soul was screaming not to.

If I move—if I even breathe wrong—I'll be dead in a single blow.

It wasn't just stronger than me.It was on a different plane of power.

Goosebumps prickled every inch of my skin.

I wanted to warn the Priest. To scream his name.To tell him to stop chanting—that something worse than death was behind us.

But if I did…

We would both die.

The moment I leapt forward—Something massive struck me mid-air like a thunderclap.

My body hurled backward like a ragdoll, slamming into a boulder with bone-cracking force.

My skull hit stone so hard, the entire boulder shattered beneath me.

The impact stole my breath.

Dazed.Bleeding.My vision blurred into streaks of red and gold.

I tried to move, but the world spun. Through the haze, I saw a colossal shadow walking toward me—Wings outstretched. Horns curved like twisted silver. Scales as white as snow, shimmering under the fractured sunlight bleeding through the cracks above.

His eyes…

Piercing.

Crimson.

Burning.

A dragon.

But not just any dragon. Our Lord.

Typhon.

But… this wasn't him. Not the man I knew. Not the soul we followed.

This creature standing before me, exhaling waves of scalding breath, felt feral. His pupils slit, his muscles tense. Steam curled from his nostrils with each growl.

He moved closer.

The heat from his breath brushed my skin—warm, but filled with raw power. Enough to peel away flesh.

He's not in control.

I didn't dare move.

Even the twitch of a finger, the turn of my neck, and I knew—He would tear me to pieces without mercy.

And the worst part?

I saw no recognition in his eyes.

Just rage.And bloodlust.
