The next few days passed in a blur for Haruto.
He met many figures—each stranger than the last.
"Art is an explosion!"
Deidara had announced with wild, manic energy, his palms literally grinning at him.
Then came Itachi.
"..."
He said nothing. Yet that silence carried more weight than a battlefield's roar.
And finally… a talking walnut..the opposite of itachi
"Hehe! You're pretty good! Hey, senpai! This kid's good!"
Tobi chirped, skipping around him like a child on sugar.
Kazuto watched it all unfold with a stoic, nonchalant gaze. Inwardly, he scoffed.
'This guy waged an entire war… for a girl? And his acting skills... Terrifying'
He exhaled, just as a commanding, feminine voice pierced his thoughts.
"Kazuto. This will be your first mission… as a member of Akatsuki."
Konan handed him a scroll. Behind her, Tobi peeked over his shoulder, tilting his masked head.
"Ooooh, what is it?" he asked, voice bubbling with fake curiosity.
Kazuto ignored him, walking out of the cave and into the humid dusk.
Konan's gaze lingered on his back as she turned to the others.
"Is anyone monitoring the Six-Tails?"
---
By the riverbank, Kazuto crouched, his eyes scanning the surface of the water as he unrolled the scroll. Faint mist danced across the surface, and the chirping of unseen insects filled the air.
> Mission:
Travel to a small hidden village deep in the Grass Country—Kusahana—where a rebel faction has begun amassing weapons and spreading anti-Akatsuki propaganda.
Infiltrate, identify their leader, and eliminate him publicly as a warning.
A smaller sheet fluttered free from the scroll. Kazuto caught it before it hit the ground—a hand-drawn map. Without hesitation, he burned the scroll and tucked the map into his inner cloak.
--.
Later, Kazuto stood before an old building with a crooked signboard:
"MERCENARY" — painted in bold, jagged letters.
He entered the dimly-lit establishment, approaching the chipped reception counter. A pale man with yellowed eyes greeted him lazily.
"I need intel on Kusahana."
He placed a stack of Ryo on the table. The attendant's demeanor sharpened instantly as he leaned in.
"Kusahana... It's a hidden settlement tucked away in the dense jungles of Grass Country—surrounded by natural mist, winding rivers, and cliffs overgrown with roots. The fog is so thick, even birds avoid the airspace."
"It used to be a shinobi refuge. Unrecognized, decentralized. Missing-nin, rogue samurai, mercenaries—all kinds of people who reject the village system. Now… it's part-village, part-fortress. Tree-top homes. Rope bridges. Cliffside bunkers. Watchers in the canopy."
He hesitated—until more Ryo appeared.
"...The current ruler is a man named Arata. He's militant. Pushes the idea of freedom over control. Trains rebels. Manufactures chakra-based explosives and poison jutsu. It's becoming a threat."
"That's all I know."
Kazuto gave a silent nod and left.
---
Using the map, Kazuto arrived just as moonlight filtered through the haze. The whole village looked like something out of a half-forgotten dream.
Thick mist snaked along the forest floor, obscuring the edges of the trail. The twisted roots of ancient trees coiled like sleeping serpents.
Laying low in the tall grass, Kazuto analyzed his options.
"The people of Kusahana are paranoid. They know every face. Infiltrating won't work…"
His gaze shifted toward the guard towers.
"Massacre, then?"
He watched the guards rotate shifts.
"...Maybe I'll track their patrol patterns first."
Hours passed as Kazuto tracked movements silently in the shadows, noting every path, shift, and station. In a nearby clearing, he drew rough sketches with a stick.
"This village is the same size as Kusa and Taki seperately…"
He counted on his fingers.
"Twenty-two shifts… seven per shift... that's 154 shinobi total. Over half are likely over 40. Veterans in the ranks of chunin perhaps…."
He tapped his chin.
"Youngest ones start around 25."
Then he paused, eyes narrowing.
"…Gate 6 doesn't have any guards?"
He sprinted low through the forest, approaching the mysterious gate—his Rinnegan activated.
Through its supernatural sight, he caught them—two sleeping guards, completely hidden by the angles of terrain and shadow.
'A normal eye would've missed them. But even worse…'
He focused.
Landmines.
Dozens, laced into the soil around the gate, silent and deadly.
'If I charged in, I'd be roasted meat if charged in recklessly.'
"looks like I have to use my abilities..."
"Rinnegan: Eclipse Rift"
Kazuto closed his eyes. The Rinnegan's rings shifted and glowed, their luster deepening into an ethereal whirl.
The world shifted.
He vanished.
The Kyomu Realm
He opened his eyes to a world that echoed silence.
The Kyomu.
A realm of nothingness. The air shimmered with translucent mist, floating like wisps of memory. There were no colors—just gradients of gray and shadow, like a world stuck between dream and void.
There were no sounds. No breeze. No heartbeat. Only an overwhelming stillness.
Kazuto looked around, his voice echoing faintly despite the absence of air.
"Too bad I can't mold this place… just not yet."
Closing his eyes, he extended his senses.
In Kyomu, everything became clearer. The world outside was mapped like a living scroll inside his mind.
He observed Gate 6—zooming in mentally—and saw it:
Landmines. Trip wires. Arcane traps laced with chakra. Had he stepped in recklessly, he wouldn't have survived.
The mission's command was simple:
Kill Arata.
Eliminate him Infront of peoples.
Leave no doubts.
Kazuto stood amidst the nothingness and whispered:
"Sneak attacks… pick them off. Slowly."
He assessed the structure's weaknesses.
"Behind that wall… easy kill. But the one guarding the front would spot me immediately."
His mind weighed every outcome.
'This isn't a fanfic. Not a novel. This is real life..fucked up once fucked up all'
With that, Kazuto vanished from the Kyomu realm
...
After some users(only one) asked about unique abilities of rinnegan I gave him Eclipse Rift
This ability have Two realms and a unique skill
The ability of the realms like in the Kyomu realm after using the ability 'Eclipse Slash' the part of a person's body would be transported to Kyomu it would still jump around and perform handseals in the kyomo realm but the person blood flow or anything won't be stopped
