Chapter 41 - Chapter 41: Black Rope Heavenly Punishment Ming Wang Vs Susanoo

"Fox…?""Or a wolf…?"

Nanaya frowned, staring at the Shinigami in front of him.

"Seriously, I never expected something like this…"

He had done a good job hiding his Reiatsu. He could knock out Shinigami without drawing attention. But what he hadn't thought about… was his scent.

Who the hell tracks people by smell?

"I'm part of the werewolf clan," the large Shinigami said, his voice deep and steady. "Our sense of smell far exceeds that of ordinary Shinigami."

He placed the paper bag back over his head, then pointed his Zanpakutō at Nanaya.

"My name is Komamura Sajin. Captain of the 7th Division. I was accepted into the Gotei 13 thanks to the compassion of Captain-Commander Yamamoto…"

"You're dangerous, outsider. Consuming Seireitei's spiritual energy like this—unchecked, undisturbed…"

"In the short time I've been following you, your Reiatsu has grown significantly. I can't allow you to continue your rampage."

Nanaya scratched his head in frustration.

"Ugh, more powerful enemies already? This is starting to feel like Kurosaki Ichigo's storyline…"

Just then, a few lower-ranking Shinigami emerged from a nearby alleyway. Their eyes widened the moment they saw the two.

"It's the intruder!""And Captain Komamura!""Quick! Alert the other captains—now!"

Nanaya turned to them, his Mangekyō Sharingan spinning slowly.

"Sorry, but you all should take a quick nap."

Komamura's expression darkened. With a growl, he rushed forward, sword in hand.

"You dare hurt others in front of me?!"

Nanaya smirked.

The approaching Shinigami's eyes glazed over. Their hands twitched toward their necks as if by reflex.

Thump. Thump.

One by one, they collapsed unconscious to the ground.

Komamura's rage exploded. His blade slashed forward, aimed at Nanaya's shoulder.

Whoosh!

But the sword sliced through nothing but air.

"What?!"

His eyes widened in shock.

No blood. No wound. Not even a scratch. The blade had passed right through him.

He immediately recalled Captain Kuchiki's earlier warning—this man had some sort of space-based ability. That must be it.

Nanaya turned to look at him, unimpressed.

"Komamura Sajin… you're going to be a real headache, aren't you?"

"If I don't deal with you now, I won't be able to rest easy. You're like a dog chasing a scent trail."

Komamura's grip on his sword tightened. He was furious now.

"You're the real problem!"

Nanaya's eyes narrowed.

"Alright. I've made up my mind. I'll just beat you up here and now. You can sleep it off for a few months."

He smiled coldly.

"Your Bankai's called Kokujo Tengen Myo'o, right?"

"Perfect. I've got a similar technique myself. Let's see whose martial god is stronger."

His tone dropped.

"Complete Susanoo."

A blinding surge of red Reiatsu erupted from Nanaya, wrapping around him in a fiery storm. Dark red bones formed in the air, followed by massive arms that emerged like those of a towering warrior.

Komamura's eyes went wide.

"This is…"

He finally understood what Kuchiki Byakuya meant.

This intruder had a power eerily similar to his own—an ability that summoned the body of a massive warrior god.

Without hesitation, Komamura stepped back and called out:

"Roar, Tenken!"

A burst of captain-level Reiatsu exploded around him.

As he swung his sword, a colossal armored arm wielding a blade appeared high above Nanaya and swung downward in unison with his own motion.

Nanaya glanced up, unfazed. He raised Susanoo's newly formed arm to intercept the attack.

BOOM!!

The sound of the clash echoed like thunder.

A violent shockwave blasted out in all directions. The force shattered nearby walls, ripped tiles from the ground, and even lifted a nearby building off its foundation. It was like a level-nine storm had just erupted in the middle of the street.

Farther away, other Shinigami saw the explosion and gasped in disbelief.

"What the hell was that?!""Ahhhh!!"

The shockwave reached them, hurling several Shinigami into nearby buildings with bone-crunching force.

Screams filled the air.

"Run! It's a captain-level battle!"

There hadn't been a fight like this in the Seireitei for centuries—not because the captains all got along, but because their full power was simply too destructive.

Everyone knew the rule: captain-level Shinigami were forbidden from fighting within Seireitei unless absolutely necessary.

Now, the bystanders truly understood why.

Their faces pale, Shinigami of all ranks immediately scattered, running from the scene as fast as they could.

If they got caught in the crossfire, they wouldn't survive.

BOOM!

"Boom!""Boom!"

Explosions rocked the battlefield again and again.

Komamura Sajin roared with each swing of his blade. In response, massive black iron arms materialized in the air and slammed toward Nanaya's Susanoo from every direction, trying to break through the defense.

But it was futile.

Susanoo's defense and power rivaled—even surpassed—Komamura's Tenken. The arms shattered harmlessly against the crimson titan's form.

In just a few short seconds, Susanoo's complete form had fully taken shape.

A towering red martial god now stood in the center of the Seireitei, radiating destructive energy and authority. The very air trembled in its presence.

It looked like a divine being sent for judgment—majestic and terrifying.

Every Shinigami who witnessed it went pale with fear.

"Th-That... is that the Captain of Squad 7's Bankai!?"

"No… Captain Komamura's Bankai is Kokujo Tengen Myo'o, the black armored war god..."

"Wait—are you saying that thing belongs to the invader!?"

"He's not even a Shinigami! How can a human have power like that!?"

"He stepped down and nearly crushed an entire street... It feels like he's stronger than Captain Aizen…"

Panic and awe spread like wildfire through the ranks of distant onlookers.

In the heart of the battlefield, Nanaya hovered within the crimson ribcage of his Susanoo, looking down at Komamura like a god staring down at an ant.

"Why haven't you summoned your Kokujo Tengen Myo'o yet?"

His voice was like cold steel.

Without waiting, Susanoo raised its immense blade and brought it crashing down.

Komamura's eyes widened.

"Tenken!!"

An armored arm appeared in midair once more to intercept the strike—but this time, the result was different.

As the blades collided—

CRACK!

Fractures spread across the black iron.

"Bang!"

The arm shattered completely.

Komamura staggered backward, blood trailing from the corner of his mouth.

He looked up—and Susanoo's blade was descending again.

"BOOM!!!"

The sword struck.

The street was obliterated in an instant.

A blast of pressure and dust erupted outward, filling the entire block in a thunderous roar. Shinigami across Seireitei looked up, stunned, at the plume of destruction.

The world held its breath.

Was it over?

Had Komamura been cut down?

Nanaya narrowed his eyes.

His Mangekyō glowed ominously as he scanned the battlefield. Deep within the smoke, Reiatsu flared—rising like a second sun.

A guttural roar echoed from the dust cloud.

"Bankai!""Kokujo Tengen Myo'o!!"

BOOM!!!

A column of energy exploded skyward as a monstrous figure rose from the ruins.

The black-armored war god had returned.

Its face was concealed below the eyes by a red cloth, its entire body wrapped in heavy armor, and a massive, black rope coiled behind it like a steel serpent. The pressure it released was suffocating.

Far greater than even the spiritual pressure Byakuya Kuchiki had unleashed during his clash with Nanaya in the living world.

And like Susanoo, it stood over 100 meters tall.

But unlike Susanoo—Komamura stood outside of his war god, not enclosed within it. He controlled the colossus through sheer will.

His body was bloodied and bruised, but his grip on the sword was firm. He swung again—and so did the black titan behind him.

Nanaya raised Susanoo's blade to meet the challenge.

"Boom!!!"

The clash shook the heavens.

"AAAAAHHH!!!"

Shinigami in the distance screamed and shielded their eyes.

"The shockwave is incredible!"

"There's two martial gods out there?!"

"Captain Komamura is actually even with him!?"

They gazed skyward in awe and horror.

Two towering titans—one dark and monstrous, the other fiery and divine—faced off in a battle that threatened to split the heavens.

Each swing flattened buildings. Every strike blasted apart the ground.

Even the clouds in the sky were cleaved open—split apart like paper by their blades.

This was no longer a simple fight.

This was war between gods.
