Chapter 68 - Hancock Accepts the Summons

Upon hearing Hancock delicate words, the captain didn't hesitate for a moment and immediately prepared to step forward to hand the teleportation talisman in his hand to the goddess of his heart!

Vice Admiral Momonga, quick as lightning, snatched the teleportation talisman from the captain grasp. The captain expression instantly changed, and he drew his weapon.

"Give it back to me! I want to give it to my goddess!" the captain roared in anger, then lunged at Vice Admiral Momonga, whom he usually respected the most.

Seeing his captain descend into madness, Vice Admiral Momonga was at a loss for words. He sidestepped the captain and swiftly delivered a chop to the captain neck, causing him to collapse unconscious.

"Hehehe, watching dogs fight is truly entertaining!" Hancock laughed heartily. Her interest in the teleportation talisman grew even stronger! If even the Navy placed such importance on a mere piece of paper, it had to be something extraordinary! She was determined to find a way to get her hands on it!

"Alright then, I have no problem going with you!" Hancock said cheerfully.

"But there's one condition! You must explain the origins of this teleportation talisman to me and let me experience it firsthand!"

"No!" Vice Admiral Momonga refused without a second thought.

"Then forget it!" Hancock didn't hesitate either and turned to leave.

"Wait! Let me consult with Fleet Admiral Sengoku!" Vice Admiral Momonga, seeing Hancock resolute attitude, quickly spoke up.

"You have three minutes!" Hancock casually crossed her long, alluring legs as she sat on a throne entwined with a python.

Shortly after, Vice Admiral Momonga returned from his call with Fleet Admiral Sengoku.

"The Fleet Admiral has agreed!" Vice Admiral Momonga said, then handed the teleportation talisman to Empress Hancock.

"Explain it to me!" Empress Hancock said seriously, playing with the talisman in her hand.

"This was invented by a genius scientist from the Whitebeard Pirates, Pryce," Vice Admiral Momonga explained earnestly.

"It can take you anywhere you want to go, as long as you've been there before."

"Pryce from the Whitebeard Pirates? The inventor of the Senzu Bean?" Hancock exclaimed in surprise.

Seeing Vice Admiral Momonga nod in confirmation, Hancock was stunned! Such incredible inventions, both from the same person! Unbelievable, truly unbelievable! Hancock immediately felt an urge to meet this Pryce and witness his brilliance for herself.

"Is that all?" Hancock asked, still somewhat unsatisfied.

Seeing Vice Admiral Momonga nod again, Hancock felt a slight disappointment.

"You've heard the explanation, and the talisman is now yours. Let's go!" Vice Admiral Momonga said, relieved.

"But I don't feel like going anymore!" Hancock turned and said directly.

"Dammit, are you messing with me?" Even the usually calm Vice Admiral Momonga couldn't help but snap.

"And what if I am?" Hancock blinked her beautiful eyes at Vice Admiral Momonga, and the Navy soldiers behind him, who had just regained their composure, immediately turned into her diehard fans once more!

"Since you don't want to leave, then stay here!" Hancock said seriously, looking at the still persistent Vice Admiral Momonga.

"Slave Arrow!"

Hancock directly struck a heart-shaped pose with her hands, releasing a heart-shaped arrow!

Those struck by the arrow would instantly turn to stone, captivated by Empress Hancock "beauty." The marines, already entranced by her beauty, turned into stone statues, drooling in their frozen state.

Hancock was about to leave, satisfied with her work, when she noticed that Vice Admiral Momonga had not turned to stone. Hancock looked at Vice Admiral Momonga in surprise. She suddenly realized that Vice Admiral Momonga had stabbed his own hand with a small knife.

The intense pain caused beads of sweat to form on his forehead. Hancock sneered and walked into her room.

"Hancock, for the sake of our country, you must go!" An elderly woman, trembling as she leaned on her cane, spoke.

"Who let this old woman in here? Throw her out!" Hancock frowned and said directly. This old woman was none other than Gloriosa!

"Old hag, get out of here!" Hancock waved her hand dismissively.

"For the sake of our country, Hancock, you can't just do as you please!" The old woman tapped her cane on the ground and spoke earnestly.

"I won't go, and what can you do about it?" Hancock rolled her eyes and said with a smile.

"Not even for Luffy?" The old woman brought up Luffy directly.

"Luffy?" Hancock frowned and asked. Anything related to Luffy immediately picked Hancock interest.

"The Marine is about to execute Fire Fist Ace, who is Luffy brother!" Gloriosa quickly explained.

At that moment, the doors to Hancock chambers were forcefully pushed open.

"Hancock, this old woman told me you're going to Marineford?" Luffy barged in and spoke without hesitation. "Please, take me with you!"

"If Luffy is going, then of course I'll go!" Hancock said shyly, her cheeks flushed with a captivating blush.

"Thank you, Hancock! I'll go get ready!" Luffy hugged Hancock tightly and then dashed off.

After being hugged by Luffy, Hancock delicate face turned as red as if it were about to explode.

"So, are you going now?" Old woman Gloriosa chuckled.

Hancock then realized she had lost her composure. She immediately grabbed Gloriosa by the collar and threw her out the window.

She then went outside to find Vice Admiral Momonga, who was being watched by a group of Amazon warriors.

"I accept the World Government summons, but I need some time to prepare. I'll be there within two days!" Empress Hancock said seriously.

Hearing this, Vice Admiral Momonga finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"I can't leave yet. I promised to wait for you outside the island. I'll return to Marineford with you!" Vice Admiral Momonga said, still somewhat uneasy.

"Do as you please, but you must leave my island within half an hour, or don't blame me for being rude!" Empress Hancock waved her hand dismissively.

"My soldiers!" Vice Admiral Momonga pointed to the stone statues. The stone statues of the navy began to slowly restore themselves.

Meanwhile, Momonga led his subordinates and retreated from the island.

"This is what lovesickness does to you!" Granny Nyon clung to the eaves with one hand, watching the blushing Empress with a chuckle.

"Lovesickness is truly a curse!"
