Chapter 68 - Chapter 68: Ganyu: Ah! I’m Doomed!!!

Tartaglia stood at the door and glanced inside.

The view here was also quite open.

He couldn't say much about it, only remarking, "This is truly a great spot!"

"If you want to buy this place, it'd cost at least tens of millions." Venti clicked his tongue twice.

The people of Liyue sure are rich!

But Venti could understand their perspective. If it were him, he'd probably have the Knights of Favonius foot the bill.

Lu Heng chuckled, then pulled out a card from his pocket.

Ganyu had no actual experience with cards and just watched curiously.

"What rank is this?" Tartaglia's eyes burned with excitement.

"This place is close to the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Tens of millions might even be too low."

Venti immediately turned to look.

In the card shops, the highest publicly available cards were the five-star gold cards.

Anything above five-star gold was unheard of.

And now, Lu Heng was holding out a rainbow-colored card?!

Tartaglia was baffled after looking at it: "Rainbow-colored? How can it have no rank?"

His gaze locked onto the card as he exclaimed in shock, "Ah?! Rainbow-colored?!"

"This one? This one has no rank," Lu Heng shook his head and showed him the card's information.

"It's either high-rank or some special card," Venti guessed.

"That's the idea."

Lu Heng nodded, then flicked the card with his finger.

The card spun through the air, and soon, the entire building was enveloped by its power.

Space twisted before their eyes. Though the exterior of the house remained unchanged, the interior began transforming endlessly.

The all-functional shop card had a feature: it could choose its own decoration style.

In Fontaine, it had a very modern aesthetic, but in Liyue, Lu Heng opted for a more classical touch.

The system was incredibly efficient. Before the transformation was even complete, he could already see the interior through the door.

Good grief—it felt like stepping into a centuries-old antique shop.

Here stood a porcelain vase, there a jade carving.

Even the card-drawing counter and the card dismantling machine had adapted to the environment, taking on a surface that blended seamlessly with the classical ambiance.

Two seconds later, the transformation was complete.

Lu Heng smiled and said, "Shall we go in and take a look?"

"Let's go!"

Stepping inside, the first thing they noticed was the spaciousness.

The shop in Fontaine was also large, but the style was entirely different.

"This chair… the wood material alone could sell for ninety thousand Mora outside, right?" Venti muttered.

Is this how the wealthy live?

It almost brought tears to his poor eyes.

"This card dismantling machine… looks so ancient, like it carries the weight of history."

"Even the vending machine fits right into this atmosphere."

"Not bad." Lu Heng glanced around and nodded, then asked Ganyu, "What do you think? Does it meet your expectations?"

Ganyu thought for a moment. "I'm not picky. Hehe, I'd love to try something new."

"Something new?"

Lu Heng turned and grabbed a bottle of juice for her. "Want to try this?"

"Thank you!"

Ganyu was intrigued.

"How about trying your hand at drawing a card too?"

Lu Heng said with a smile, "For this Liyue branch, you're the very first customer."

"Huh?"

Ganyu froze for a second before replying, "But… I didn't bring much Mora with me…"

"No worries. An equipment purchase is just ten thousand Mora, and a phone is another ten thousand. A single draw is ten thousand, so thirty thousand will get you a full experience. Or you can skip the phone and just do twenty," Venti chimed in.

The wonders of the cards were something Ganyu had already witnessed, and it was hard for her not to be tempted.

After a brief hesitation, Ganyu took out her Mora.

"I only brought two million Mora with me. I can go back and get more if needed!" Ganyu spoke softly, almost apologetically, as if afraid Lu Heng would find it insufficient.

Venti scratched his head at her words.

This is what you call "not much Mora"?

Is this how rich people talk?!

"That's plenty."

Lu Heng wasn't concerned about the size of the first transaction.

"Come on, let's get started."

Lu Heng began by explaining the equipment to her.

Ganyu listened attentively.

After purchasing the equipment and a white phone, she topped up 2.2 million Mora.

Tartaglia and Venti stayed silent, simply watching from the side.

"Tap here to draw a card," Lu Heng instructed.

"Okay."

Ganyu was a little nervous.

She tapped the ten-draw option.

A hole opened in a patch of clouds, and crystal-like objects glowing with white light descended from it.

They landed on the counter and materialized into cards.

Ganyu had already learned about card rankings, but after examining each one, she realized she still had much to discover!

One-star and two-star cards might not seem impressive, but that depended on the comparison!

Some cards had effects so good that even Vision holders would covet them!

Ganyu snapped out of her daze slightly.

And this was just for a hundred thousand Mora…

She tapped the ten-draw option again.

This time, a blue light appeared.

A three-star card showed up, though its effect was rather ordinary.

She still had two hundred draws left.

Ganyu hesitated for a moment before going for a hundred-draw.

The first hundred-draw yielded two three-star cards.

Tartaglia couldn't help but exclaim.

The second hundred-draw, the moment she tapped it, erupted in purple light.

"Not bad luck."

"My luck is good?"

Ganyu stared at the purple-glowing card, curious about its effect.

"Let me take a look."

Lu Heng flipped the card to appraise it.

"Your luck really is quite good, Miss Ganyu," he said with a smile.

The card depicted a pink plant, delicate and lovely at first glance.

[Exotic Plant - No. 36: Succulent]

[Rank]: 4-star - Purple

[Type]: [External Item Card]

[Traits]: [Calming] [Medicinal Properties]

[Description]: A treasure of the earth, with regenerative properties like chives. Just add water, and it will quickly grow new leaves. Placing it nearby or eating a leaf has a calming effect, and the leaves contain medicinal properties roughly equivalent to a one-star healing potion.

Lu Heng mused, "You can try tearing it to see what happens."

Ganyu didn't ask why and obediently did as told.

A potted succulent then appeared on the table.

It looked beautiful and emitted a soothing aura that relaxed the mind effortlessly.

"This…"

The plump, pink leaves looked juicy and tender…

Ganyu's throat moved slightly.

Ah!!

Her face instantly flushed red.

"I-I…"

How embarrassing! She'd just eaten her fill!

Would they think of her as… a glutton?!

Should she just find a hole to hide in…

"It's fine, we get it… To be honest, I kinda want to try a bite too," Lu Heng said, partly to comfort Ganyu but also because he genuinely wanted to taste it.

After all… it did look delicious.

"Miss Ganyu, may I try some?" Tartaglia asked.

"Ah, sure."

Ganyu, still dazed, broke off a leaf and handed it to him.

It was perfectly clean.

Lu Heng popped it straight into his mouth.

"The texture… it's like jelly," Lu Heng commented.

Ganyu then shared some with Tartaglia and Venti.

"Ribbit!"

The Crimson Frog croaked, clearly also wanting a taste.

Ganyu gave it a leaf as well.

Finally, she broke off a piece for herself and ate it.

Mmm!

This taste…!

Ganyu's eyes lit up.

So delicious! It melted in her mouth and even had medicinal properties—good for the body!

She looked down and saw the succulent's wound rapidly healing.

In just a few seconds, it had fully regrown!

This… this thing is endless?!

Ganyu was both terrified and delighted.

Terrified because she might not be able to stop herself from eating it nonstop.

Delighted because… she could eat it forever!

It tasted great, had medicinal benefits, and could help her relax…

She was doomed!

Why did she have to draw something like this?!

Her weight!!!

Ganyu's heart let out a silent wail of despair.

"It's really quite good," Tartaglia gave a thumbs-up.

Venti also shared his thoughts: "The medicinal properties are mild. Though not strong, it's definitely beneficial for health."

"Ribbit!"

The Crimson Frog offered its own cryptic evaluation.
