Dude: man. quiet day.
Dasch: ehh. no wonder. you're on couch again.
Dude: i wish it had some wheels.
Dasch: where would you go.
Dude: it won't. it's gonna have stationary wheels. it would be like on treadmill.
Dasch: why on earth would you have wheels for just that.
Dude: i just wanna feel like i'm moving.
Dasch: but you would be in the same position.
Dude: the point is. it just has to feel like i'm moving.
Dasch: why can't you just be normal and walk outside.
Dude: i don't want to do the walking myself. the wheels are gonna do the heavy lifting.
Dasch: you can barely lift yourself. i can see that clearly.
Dude: i just want the wheels to keep rolling. so i feel like i am crusing and floating.
Dasch: in a sense, you're immobile.
Dude: you're not saying i'm handicap. that's not right thing to say.
Dasch: i didn't mean any of that but i guess it gets your reaction.
Dude: i let others move so that i do not have to move.
Dasch: are you trying to be center of universe.
Dude: i don't want such status. i just can't let others make me move. this is like psychological battle.
Dasch: you won't flinch. because you allow no energy waste.
Dude: the powerful never moves. think all kings. they never stand. they just sit in thrones.
Dasch: isn't that basically center of universe. i thought you seek no status.
Dude: i don't seek anything. i just deserve it. i'm complete. no need to seek anything.
Dasch: you do seek wheels for your couch. how are you gonna get them without moving.
Dude: they will have to roll their ways here.
Dasch: that's never gonna happen. it's impossible.
Dude: i don't care about how it gets done. i let them just unfold. i do not force anything. i just let it happen.
Dasch: yes, you do let things happen. doing nothing in that couch.
Dude: what goes comes. what comes goes. there is no denial. just acceptance.
Dasch: you seem to have become poet. sitting there too long.
Dude: i'm like that sculpture. the one sitting and thinking.
Dasch: you're not too far away from it. you just gotta stay still and stop talking too.
Dude: it's not easy upgrade. it would be like crazy yoga. nonmoving. frozen in time.
Dasch: how is it that sculpture can be thinking. it's just sitting. i get that one. but why is it thinking.
Dude: just look at his posture. it's in thinking mode. fist holding his chin.
Dasch: what must he be thinking.
Dude: i don't know. something important. he looks pretty serious.
Dasch: maybe he is asleep. maybe he froze while thinking. that's how he became sculpture.
Dude: maybe something he thought struck him. and it froze him. some kind of lightining strike.
Dasch: maybe it wasn't something he was supposed to think about.
Dude: it was something forbidden. mindblowing. we won't know what it is. it gives us no clue.
Dasch: maybe it's done thinking and that's why it stopped and became sculpture.
Dude: maybe he didn't like thinking for too long and so he decided to stop in the middle of it.
Dasch: and he decided to just remain seated. for all of us to see him that way.
Dude: actually it makes total sense. think about it. if we stop thinking, we are all comatose and turned into stone.
Dasch: i don't know how he managed to stop thinking though. it's little crazy.
Dude: there's one way. you can just sleep.
Dasch: but you do have thoughts in dreams.
Dude: i'm talking about the ones that are blank and have no stories at all.
Dasch: so we can't really make it happen when we want it to.
Dude: yeah it seems so.
Dasch: i'm little disappointed we can't do much about it.
Dude: but if we have no thought, there would be nothing. it would be total darkness. i mean there would be nothing. just absolutely nothing. there would not be even nothing as well as anything.
Dasch: maybe no one gets a chance to know what that's like, aside from blank dream.
Dude: blank dreams seem to be our best shot.
Dasch: actually, when you faint and wake up. that missing part may also count. the void.
Dude: sleep and faint are like similar things. they are both going to sleep.
Dasch: i wouldn't wanna faint. it's usually accident. it could end up dying.
Dude: yeah, i think blank sleeps are better deal too. fainting may not guarantee wake up.
Dasch: i'm gonna see if i can get it.
Dasch closes his eyes lying on Dude's mattress.
Dude: yeah, let me see if i can too.
