want-"
"Ignore that. " Widowmaker commanded.
"If you can't seduce your current enemy with your voice, then it's a waste. Get it after another mission or so.
"
"Secondly, is [Cursed Speech: Shield] which creates a weak shield around me while I use Cursed Speech. " Sebastian explained.

"That sounds great. What's the last?" Widowmaker asked.
"[Cursed Speech: Debuff] which slightly weakens the enemy after being affected by my Cursed Speech. " He told her.
"It's good, but the Shield has more application. " Widowmaker spoke.
"The system explains all downsides upfront. I can see all downsides to the abilities I can buy which means that the Shield will occur regardless of circumstance.
"
"This means that you can use the shield offensively. " Widowmaker explained.
"Instead of using your ability to defend yourself, you can block an attack with the shield and counter-attack at the same time. "
"That makes sense. " With little more hesitation, Sebastian bought the three skills discussed.
"Make sure to test if the shield activates when you delay a use. " Widowmaker advised before disappearing from the void.
After returning to reality and testing out his new abilities, he realized the power of the 'upgrades' he got.
Firstly, if before he was able to crush a weak fallen angel before becoming critically injured. Now, he could crush three.
However, by the second, he'd hardly be able to talk, and after the third, he'd most likely die instantly. In short, he would be able to use his ability 150% more.
Secondly, he could speak a word or phrase and delay it's cast for 1 minute. After the one minute, it would automatically cast unless it was cancelled.
It didn't take any energy until it was casted, but if it was cancelled ahead of time, it'd take a small chunk of energy instead.
Therefore, this meant he could speak rarely, if he was willing to lose some energy to do so. It should also be noted that it would take 30 minutes to get the energy back from cancelling.
This meant that he could essentially speak every 30 minutes without draining himself dry.
Lastly, and most certainly not least, was the interaction between [Cursed Speech: Delay] and [Cursed Speech: Shield]. When speaking the words to queue up a Delayed Cursed Speech activation, the shield would activate, protecting Sebastian.
And also meant that if he queued up a word and then cancelled it, he'd get a shield without using Cursed Speech.
However, the energy consumption was at least five times the normal cancellation energy consumption.
Despite being quite a strong ability, the reason for the 50-point price tag became apparent when testing how durable it was.
Sebastian found that an effortless lightning attack by Akeno could be blocked and bullets could be blocked, but if Akeno decided to use even 15% of her total mana pool on a single attack, the shield would be destroyed instantly.
It should also be noted that the shield breaks after the pitiful attack by Akeno. That means it can block a normal attack from supernatural people, but only one.
It would help, but it was priced at 50-points for a reason.
Even with only these three upgrades, Sebastian was feeling pretty confident. The plan had already been set out for him, courtesy of Rias.
All he needed to do was perform in a 1v1 fight with Riser.
As the sun fell behind the horizon, Rias announced the end of the full week of training.
Everyone was free to go home and relax for tonight. As tomorrow would be the most stressful event of their lives.
Of course, this included Sebastian. He'd most definitely need the rest.
He used a got chunk of his energy testing out his new skills, so rest was much needed.
He entered his front door and ate dinner before retreating upstairs to his bedroom where he stripped himself of his clothes and laid down, ready to sleep.
Elsewhere, Rias stressed over various sheets of paper on a desk.
'There's no loopholes. ' Rias felt the anxiety build up inside of her.
'I thought I'd have a look one last time, but they really made this inescapable. '
She tried to look through every underworld law book published in order to try to wriggle her way out before the rating game. However, the contract was fool-proof.
'I guess I have to try, one last time. ' Rias looked out her window in distress.
She used a teleportation circle to teleport into her brother's office.
"Hello Rias. You didn't tell me you'd be visiting.
" A red-haired man gave her a smile as he greeted her.
"You're sure you can't get me out of this, Sirzechs?" Rias got straight to the point.
"I'm sorry Rias. .
. but the laws are set in stone, and dad's already signed everything.
" He responded.
"So, one of the Great Satans can't even get his sister out of an engagement?" Rias spat. "What's even the point of the title if you have to listen to the 10 useless council elders to decide everything?" Rias teleported out as quickly as she entered.
"Haaaaahh. " Sirzechs sighed.
"It sounds like she's going to do something stupid. Please go and take care of her, Grayfia.
"
"Of course. " The grey-haired woman that broke Riser's arm nodded at Sirzech's order and teleported away as well.
At the same time, Rias made up her mind, there was one chance to get out of this marriage.
'Arranged engagements between two devils under age 20 can only be made with 2 virgins. ' The law was made to ensure that big families had less partners to spread their genes with.

Of course, taking one look at Riser's peerage could tell you that he didn't care much for this law, and neither did any other 'young master' of the underworld.
If Rias brought this up with Riser's family, they could just say, 'our boy's innocent' and no one could prove them wrong. However, if Rias was the one that said she lost her virginity, they'd have to take action.
Obviously, this was wishful thinking.
