"How did you come back to life, Alan?" Evelyn asked, walking backward in front of me, her hands clasped behind her back.
We were on our way back to Lily Town after what could only be described as a very tiring, and let's be honest, kind of tragic event.
"Err... I don't really know," I said, scratching the back of my head. "It felt like I was asleep for a long time. Then I just... woke up. And boom, new power."
I gave her the ultra-simplified version. No way was I going to mention the old man or how I actually got the power. If I did, Evelyn would throw a million questions at me before we even reached the town.
As I walked, a sudden wave of dizziness hit me. My steps wobbled to the side of the road before I even realized it. William quickly grabbed my shoulder, steadying me.
"Dude, are you okay?" Bob asked, eyebrows raised.
I held my head as the spinning sensation slowly faded. "Just a little dizzy," I muttered.
