As Selene and Kaelen walked over to where I was sitting, I was staring ahead at two system screens. The first was one that showed my brand-new flaw.

My eyes were fixed in particular on the part about broken fate and soul stirring. I only realized Kaelen and Selene had walked over when Selene waved her hand in front of my face. I glanced up at the two of them.
Kaelen held what looked to be a set of metal squares in his hand while Selene Held what looked to be a small notebook with what looked to be a bunch of flower designs on the cover that were surprisingly good drawings.
"I found a place to eat called the steel Palette, how was the requester?"
Kaelen asked, handing Selene and I a plate each carved with what looked to be a number on top, and on the bottom sat a carved rune circle with a small blue crystal in the middle.
"They were good, quest is still available. At the moment they have the salamanders locked in an airtight room, so while their coke isn't burning, the spirits don't need to breath, so 4 of them are just hanging out. Oh, Selene, how did shop searching go?"
Selene opened up her notebook and turned it my way as I could see the names of 3 shops. Even better, each had footnotes under them.

General herb shop. Has a variety of herbs, but also has some nature based items like staves and stuff, maybe Liora will be interested.

Its half herbs, half potion shop, Aiden may be able to purchase new recipes here.

Couldn't find a place like the library at Hopestone, but people I asked pointed me this way. It might have some info on the salamanders.
It was surprisingly detailed, and I saw more of those drawings in the various corners of the pages, including a sketch of Misty believe it or not. I turned to look at Selene as will said.
"She did say her whole thing was getting control down on her arm, sketching would take finesse and practice."
I nodded at this agreeing that it's a simple, but effective way to assist her in getting control.
We started to make our way to the Steel Palette as my mind shifted back to Aether resistance preparations. As we made our way to our table Kaelen offered to let Liora and Thalia know where we were, as Jax jumped from my cloak and jumped up to chair, stretching as he started to look over the menu.
Selene sat and also started to look over the menu as I closed my eyes and tried to ponder what I had done wrong. A bit to my surprise, as I tried to think, I drifted away from control of my body just like when I had been controlled before, but as I drifted, I saw Will floating and spinning in the air as he said.
"Welcome to our mind, and no, I have no idea what we did wrong."
We both were silent for a moment as I said.
"Let's go through everything step by step to make sure we're not missing something simple."
"Agreed, we have found a recipe for an item called a revolution core, serving as a second heart it would circulate Aether throughout the body."
"We were warned that unless we have an innate resistance to Aether or the right constitution, we would be subjected to Aether Flux."
"So, we reasoned that Liquid crystal which is the equivalent of liquid Aether could be ingested to build up a resistance."
At this last part I facepalmed as Will looked up at me, his connection to me as a part of my mind had him also facepalm as he read my thoughts.
"Small quantities build up resistance, we chugged a whole vial!"
We both said at once. I wanted to continue the more in-depth conversation, but I found myself getting drawn back to my vision as I felt what seemed to be something on my head. I didn't move, instead blinking my eyes open Jax was standing on the table, moving slowly and carefully he seemed to be placing something over my head.
"What are y-?"
I moved my head to try to look up, but as I did 3 menus fell off my head from where Jax had been balancing them.
"Dang, I almost had the 4th one."
He said, chuckling as he jumped down to his seat again. While I had been on the waiting in line side of this, I had to admit, it was boring waiting for them to do the paperwork at the guild. As we waited, I took a moment to use the bathroom, but instead of using it, I sat in the stall.
Pouring another vial of liquid crystal. I took a small sip, only a third of the vial this time. This time the pain was much less as I stared at my system window

Your soul stirs. It appeared when I was gaining the Fragmented Will (E) and Silver Tongue (E) skills so it might mean it's when you're developing a skill. Waiting for the pain to subside, I drank another third.
