Alister ignored the notifications flashing before his eyes as he dodged a dozen ice spikes darting towards him, fired by an enraged cultist who had just witnessed him slit the neck of his comrade.
"AHHH!"
As Alister evaded the attacks, a few cultists behind him bore the consequences. One of them was hit at a vital point and died instantly, the other three were badly injured. Their cries of anguish echoed, buried among the other cries of pain and anger reverberating from every corner of the first floor.
"You fucking intruder! I'll kill you myself!"
The same cultist who had fired the ice spikes earlier began swinging his crooked magic wand as he chanted a new spell.
Alister sneered and launched himself toward him.
"Ice spikes!"
