Chapter 42 - Weird Situation

Tang Yin was genuinely moved by Rongrong's words. In response, he offered her a soft, charming smile — a smile that caught her completely off guard and made her heart flutter.

Yu Tianheng, witnessing the two sharing a tender moment in the middle of a battle, felt his temper boil over. Were they really flirting right now?

Fury surged within him. "First soul ring — Thunder Dragon Claw!" he shouted, swinging his fist forward.

A condensed thunder dragon claw burst forth, crackling with energy as it shot toward Tang Yin. But Tang Yin reacted instantly, his body flickering and vanishing from sight as he used Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track to evade the attack.

Before Yu Tianheng could follow up, Tang Yin's third soul ring activated with a cold growl — "Soul Devouring Prison." Tang Yin's third soul ring lit up with a sinister Violet glow.

Seven crimson cage materialized around the Emperor Team. Sharp barbs extended from the bars, piercing their skin and injecting a slow-acting neurotoxin. Their soul power began to drain steadily, weakening them from within.

The rest of the Shrek Seven immediately saw the opportunity. Without hesitation, they launched a coordinated assault on the immobilized Emperor Team, giving them no chance to recover or mount a counterattack.

Watching his team being overwhelmed, Qin Ming's face darkened. Realizing they had no way out, he quickly signaled to the host. "We concede," he said, voice tight with disbelief.

The host declared Shrek Academy the winners.

Instantly, the crowd erupted into chaos. Many who had bet on the Emperor Team began shouting in anger and disappointment, while Shrek supporters cheered with pride and excitement.

Yu Tianheng stood frozen, stunned by the sudden and crushing defeat. It had all happened so fast — too fast. His fists clenched, and his heart burned with frustration and shame.

Then he saw Tang San Smirking which looked provocative to him.

That subtle, almost mocking smile ignited something inside him.

'It was this disgusting guy and his master's unorthodox strategy — it was all this guy's doing.'

Unable to control the surge of rage building in his chest, Yu Tianheng lunged forward without warning. Tang San, unprepared, barely had time to react as Yu Tianheng tackled him to the ground, fists flying in a blur of fury.

Dugu Yan & rest of The Emperor Team also didn't stop him watching intently as Tang san was battered.

"Let's see your smug face now!" he growled, landing blow after blow as chaos broke out around them once more.

Tang yin was taken aback "I didn't orchestrate all this! Is that Yu Tianheng really not afraid of death?" he muttered under his breath. "If Tang Hao saw this, he'd probably rip your father's beard off."

The Shrek Seven started to move, ready to intervene — but before they could act, Qin Ming stepped in. His expression was grim and darker than before.

With a sharp movement, he grabbed Yu Tianheng by the collar and yanked him back forcefully, pulling him away from Tang San.

Tang San, now lying on the ground, swollen like a pig's head, barely recognizable.

"Enough!" Qin Ming snapped, his voice like thunder. "This isn't how we handle defeat!"

Yu Tianheng breathed heavily, fists still clenched, but he didn't resist. He looked down at Tang San, chest heaving, but the fire in his eyes still hadn't dimmed.

Flender and Zhao Wuji rushed forward, ready to break up the commotion—only to halt in surprise when they recognized a familiar face. Their tension vanished instantly.

"Qin Ming? These kids are yours?" Flender laughed heartily, clapping him on the back. "Young men these days are full of fire, eh? Haha!"

Zhao Wuji chuckled as well, helping Qin Ming save face in front of their juniors.

But Qin Ming didn't share their amusement. He looked visibly embarrassed. After all, Yu Tianheng was his student—and launching an attack after losing in the arena was a serious violation. It wasn't just bad sportsmanship; it was a direct hit to the reputation of their Emperor Team. So no, he couldn't laugh it off.

Just then, Yu Xiaogang made his grand entrance.

With hands clasped behind his back, he strutted in like a self-important peacock, exuding the smug aura of a self-proclaimed genius.

(He was clearly trying to impress someone—namely, his nephew. Yu Xiaogang was the kind of guy who lived for appearances, constantly pretending to be wise and deep while leaving behind a trail of personal disasters. His best performance? Trying to show off Liu Erlong in front of Bibi Dong—and somehow dragging the entire Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan into ruin. Bravo, truly)

Yu Tianheng rubbed his eyes. Was he hallucinating? That really looked like... Uncle Xiaogang!

The next second, he sprinted forward with teary eyes. Just as he was about to pounce, Tang Yin subtly activated a telepathic suggestion, whispering into his mind: "Go for a passionate hug."

And oh boy, did Yu Tianheng deliver.

With stars in his eyes, he launched himself at Yu Xiaogang, not only hugging him tightly but also wrapping his legs around the stunned man's waist like an overenthusiastic koala.

The entire arena froze.

The whole arena went silent seeing the overly enthusiastic Yu Tianheng. Most baffled was Dugu Yan and the rest of the Emperor Team.

Yu Xiaogang, under Tang Yin's subtle influence, gazed back at him just as lovingly—because in that moment, everything felt absolutely normal.

Flender couldn't take it anymore. He cleared his throat—loudly.

"Yu Xiaogang!!"

The Grandmaster blinked, annoyed at having their touching reunion interrupted. "What is it, Flender? Can't you see we're having a heartfelt family moment here?"

Flender opened his mouth, closed it, then turned to Zhao Wuji with an expression that screamed I've got nothing. Zhao Wuji, who also looked mildly disturbed, took the hint and stepped forward with a grunt.

"You can bond all you want after leaving the arena," he said, his deep voice echoing off the walls. "No need to show that much affection in front of the entire crowd."

With that, he walked off toward the exit, shaking his head.

The rest of the crowd slowly followed, most wearing the same unsettled expression—as if they'd just witnessed something their brains needed time to recover from.

Dugu Yan lingered behind, staring at her boyfriend like he'd grown a second head. She had questions. So many questions. Watching Yu Tianheng and Yu Xiaogang now strolling hand-in-hand, whispering like couples, she wasn't sure she even knew her boyfriend anymore.
