"You? In charge of this wedding? Don't make me laugh! Why would someone like you even be working in a high-class resort? Yanming told me that you have been selling your body to various men to make ends meet!"
The accusation was baseless, yet it echoed within earshot of numerous people, many of them Fang Ruoye's new subordinates. Inevitably, a wave of embarrassment washed over her.
And yet, no one dared to shut Madam Luo up. Everyone knew that Madam Luo was the mother of the groom, and Baiyue Resort and Hotel staff were trained to remain courteous to their clients.
The only person who stepped forward on Fang Ruoye's behalf was Assistant Li.

Fang Ruoye took hold of a gigantic flower bouquet, intent on placing it in its intended position, but Madam Luo marched toward her and grabbed the bouquet from the other side.
"No need! We don't need your help in this wedding!"
"Trust me when I say, I am not trying to help. This is my job, that's all."
"Then you are dismissed from this wedding! Just tell your boss this is what I want!"
The two women, one old and one young, began pulling at the gigantic flower bouquet. Pairs of concerned eyes followed the huge flower arrangement as it swayed to the left and right, following the force of the pull.
And then, suddenly, Madam Luo let go of the flower bouquet.
Fang Ruoye almost fell backward, but Assistant Li was there to support her back, preventing her from hitting the ground.
