In highschool someone asked Cassie how she'll get married if she doesn't date anyone and Cassie answer was simple "if he's my soulmate, God will make him command me to take the ring and Marry him" no one took it serious and thought Cassie was joking so they were all laughing, except Cassie who was expressionless as always
But still,she can't remember telling Adrian this,when she stopped laughing,she looked at Adrian who was no longer smiling but had a serious expression "Adrian"
"Yes"Adrian answered,his voice low
"I'll marry you" Cassie says, everyone around found this scene strange but who could argue with it, Adrian who had been serious turned all smiley as he put the ring on for her,he stood up and hugged her, Cassie hugged him back
She had learned something when Adrian travelled and even when she newly came to this world...it was that even if she pretended,she will always want Adrian,she needs him and can't live without him,she loves him
Meanwhile Lisa who was watching this happy couple was in the verge of tears,she ran to the stairs leading up,Nian Nian who happened to see this quickly went to see Lisa,her and Jen had arrived a while ago and saw the proposal and all that,they had been standing at the door
Lisa was upstairs on the roof,she threw her bag on the floor,tears was streaming down her face when the door to the roof opened,she cleaned her eyes before turning around to see Nian Nian crossing her arms and looking at her"we need to talk" Nian Nian voice was stern
Lisa picked up her bag"I don't have anything to talk to you about" she was about to walk away when Nian Nian held her hand"I know you have feelings for Cassie"
Lisa stiffen"and I'm guessing that's why you and Mark broke up" Nian Nian added
Lisa quickly pulls her hand away"I don't know what you're talking about"
"You said it yourself in the hospital when you had a high fever and plus,the way you always act when it came to anything concerning Cassie... Lisa,try taking a vacation,stress has made your body in a state of confusion,I won't tell Cassie about your feelings,it's not like she'll care about it,I think it's best you travel out for that vacation" Thai time,it was Nian Nian who left, leaving Lisa alone on the rooftop
Lisa goes on her knees once Nian Nian is gone and burst into silent sobs and lots of tears
Meanwhile downstairs, everyone was congratulating Cassie and Adrian, Henry also came over,he looked like he collected a panda black eye bag "congratulations"
Cassie was about to reply when her eyes fell on his eyes,her lips twitched,she saw it as funny but quickly controlled her self and put on an expressionless face "thanks"
"It's been long since you came to the hospital to see me,I guess it's because you..." He glanced at Adrian before adding "found someone to pour your heart to"
Cassie knew that the Cassie of this world had always gone to Henry to cry and all that but she was a different Cassie and didn't see why she should fo that kind of pathetic thing"yes,I found someone"
Henry nods but before he could say something else, Adrian pulled Cassie by his waist"Henry isn't it?" Adrian asked with an obvious fake smile"give Cassie some space" Henry looks down and See's that he had somehow walked closer to Cassie without realizing it,he stepped back awkwardly "sorry" he quickly apologized but Adrian nor Cassie said anything,Cassie face remained expressionless,even when Adrian pulled her by the waist, away from there
