Logan exited the Mercer Headquarters through a back entrance while in full disguise and called a taxi once he got close to the street.
'It's been a while since I last walked among normal people,' he thought, eyeing the unassuming crowd around him.
Once he got into the taxi, he stared out of the window the entire ride to the airport, enjoying the ground view he'd missed for several months.
'It really feels different now,' he thought, smiling.
A few minutes later, the taxi pulled up to the airport.
"Thank you," Logan nodded as he stepped out of the car.
The taxi sped away behind him, while Logan stared at the crowd of people in front of him.
Families chatted about their vacations, businessmen rushed past with anxious looks, and the rich were escorted to their private shuttles in the back.
A smile spread on Logan's face as he confidently stepped forward through the crowd.
