In the middle of the madness, the Student Council President 'Aditya Agnihotri' suddenly turned his sharp gaze toward the prakriti.

"And YOU!" he snapped, pointing a finger at her.

She raised an eyebrow, completely unfazed. "What about me?"

He crossed his arms, looking like a frustrated boss about to fire his most reckless employee. "Do you even remember that you're my assistant? Or did you just take the title for fun?"

prakriti scoffed. "Excuse me, I do plenty of work."

"Oh, really? Let's review!" He started counting on his fingers. "You miss half the meetings, you ignore all my emails, you somehow manage to create more problems instead of solving them, and—" he sighed, rubbing his temples, "—you are always a mess!"

prakriti smirked. "Well, to be fair, I do open your emails."

"To REPLY?"

"No, just to mark them as read so you stop spamming me"

vedant choked on his own breath. Akshit let out a loud laugh. Shanaya just shook her head, while the Ishika whispered, "unfortunately Iconic"

Aditya took a deep breath, looking like he was so close to death "Why—WHY did I even make you my assistant?"

prakriti shrugged. "Because I'm the only one who tells you to shut up when you're being annoying?"

Silence.

Everyone turned to look at the Aditya.

He opened his mouth. Closed it and then Opened it again.

Then, finally, he sighed in pure exhaustion "I need a vacation."

As Aditya was still recovering from the chaos, Ishika smirked, crossing her arms.

"Alright, President, I've got two more questions."

He exhaled sharply. "Why do I have a feeling I'm not going to like either of them?"

She ignored him and pointed at the Shanaya, who was currently avoiding eye contact.

"First of all—WHY did no one know that you two are cousins?"

The entire room went dead silent.

vedant nearly dropped the water bottle he was drinking from. prakriti head snapped toward them so fast it was a miracle she didn't get whiplash. Even the akshit looked mildly shocked.

Shanaya sighed "Oh, great. Here we go,"

Aditya straightened his posture, his voice flat. "Because it was never important"

Ishika gasped dramatically "Never Important?! YOU TWO ARE SIBLINGS, HOW IS THAT NOT RELEVANT?!"

Shanaya adjusted her blazare "It's not like it's a secret, We just never made a big deal out of it."

The tech genius 'Akshit' grinned, "This is hilarious. The two most uptight people in the school are related?"

prakriti, who had been suspiciously quiet, suddenly smirked. "Huh, so my precious bestfriend is actually your little cousin?"

Aditya gave her a warning look "Don't even start,"

Ishika gasped dramatically again

"Wait—WAIT! That means the Head of the Discipline Committee My academic rival….and also your self obessesed brother!" She turned to the Aditya, her smirk growing. "Which brings me to my next question."

She leaned forward

"Where The hell, Is he? 'Ruhaan Agnihotri'—your brother, my rival—not here? Does he not care that his cousin just fainted an hour ago?"

Everyone turned to the Aditya, who had finally run out of immediate answers.

For a brief second, just a second, his expression faltered.

prakriti noticed instantly. She leaned forward, eyes gleaming "Ohhh! Now I really want to know,"

Vedant whistled "Man, you are hiding something."

Shanaya sighed, shaking her head. "Here we go again,"

Akshit adjusted his glasses. "It is strange for Ruhaan to be absent in a situation like this,"

Ishika grinned "So… are you going to tell us, or do we have to investigate ourselves?"

Aditya pinched the bridge of his nose. "I am not dealing with this right now,"

prakriti smirked. "Oh, you will, Because now? We won't let it go!"

And just like that, a new mystery had been unlocked.

As soon as Aditya refused to answer, Ishika smirked and dramatically flipped her hair.

"Alright, then! If you won't tell us where he is, we'll just go find out ourselves"

She spun on her heel and marched toward the door.

prakriti, grinning, followed. "Yeah, I suddenly have so many questions."

Vedant laughed, shoving his hands in his pockets as he strolled after them, "this is gonna be good"

Shanaya, sighing in pure exhaustion, muttered, "I hate this school," before following them.

Akshit adjusted his glasses. "This is a waste of time." But he still walked out with them.

Aditya groaned "Why are you all like this?" before reluctantly following the chaos.

As they walked down the hall, prakriti turned to the Ishika.

"So, as his academic rival, what do you think he's up to?"

Ishika smirked "Knowing him? Either studying, lecturing someone, or secretly leading a double life as a spy"

Vedant 'The bad boy' snorted "Yeah, 'cause that makes sense."

Akshit frowned. "Actually, she may have a point, He's too disciplined, People like that usually have some hidden chaos in their lives."

Shanaya sighed and shook her head in disbelief

"Or, you know, maybe he's just busy?"

Ishika gasped dramatically "Or maybe he's meeting with a secret girlfriend?"

Everyone stopped walking.

Silence.

Then—

prakriti 'The rebel' gasped. "WAIT, What if he actually has one?"

Vedant burst out laughing. "Ohhh, if he does, this school will never recover"

Akshit scratch the back of his neck "This is ridiculous,"

Aditya Agnihotri, now completely done, muttered, "I should've stayed home today."

And with that, the most dramatic, unnecessary, and completely ridiculous investigation in school history officially began.

Meanwhile, as the group continued their ridiculous march down the hall, Vedant 'the bad boy' was having a full-blown existential crisis.

"I swear, my life is cursed."

No one really paid attention to his muttering at first—until he let out a frustrated groan and dramatically ran a hand through his hair but still only two peoples notice him others are just planning to create more chaos.

Ishika side-eyed him. "What's with you?"

The bad boy scoffed. "Oh, nothing, Just realizing that the universe hates me"

Ishika, still enjoying the chaos, smirked "Ooooh, do tell."

Vedant sighed. "First of all, my crush? She's best friends of my ex-best friend,"

Silence.

Then Akshit giggled "Ohhh, you're doomed"

Ishika actually looked up from her deep thoughts. "Yeah, if she finds out, your chances are approximately 0.01%."

Akshit nodded in agreement "she's right. Statistically speaking, this is a disaster,"

Vedant lightly groaned "I know! The moment my ex-best friend finds out I like her best friend, she's absolutely going to destroy my love life in under five seconds or maybe two,"

Ishika grinned "Yup, sounds about right,"

vedant threw his hands up in frustration "And as if that wasn't enough, I just found out that my friend, who I thought was normal is actually the cousin of my crush?! What kind of fate is this?!"

Akshit spoke slowly and quietly, ensuring that only Ishika and vedant could hear him "Fuck, Imagine trying to date someone and realizing you have to impress their siblings first"

Ishika patted his shoulder, barely holding back laughter "My condolences!"

vedant lightly groaned again "I'm so screwed"

Just as vedant was dramatically mourning his cursed fate, they turned a corner—

and walked straight into the Head of the Discipline Committee 'Ruhaan Agnihotri'

The air froze.

Everyone stopped.

Ishika—who had been all smug and playful seconds ago—suddenly stiffened.

prakriti raised an eyebrow, immediately sensing the tension.

vedant muttered under his breath, "Oh, great! The fun police is here,"

Shanaya sighed "This timing is suspiciously convenient,"

Akshit adjusted his glasses, studying the interaction like a scientist observing a rare species.

And Aditya Agnihotri ? He simply crossed his arms and said, "Took you long enough."

Ruhaan Agnihotri, as always, looked completely unbothered. His uniform was perfectly pressed, his posture flawless, and his expression bored—as if he hadn't just run into a group of chaos incarnate.

His sharp gaze flickered across them before settling on the Ishika.

"I thought you told me to stay away from you" His voice was calm but firm.

Ishika, who had been ready to be annoying two seconds ago, scoffed but looked away "Oh, shut up."

prakriti eyes sparkled with curiosity "Oooooh. What's this? A secret argument you didn't tell us about?"

vedant smirked "Wait, wait...hold up, You two already fought before this?"

Ishika glared at them "Mind your own business."

prakriti grinned "No,"

Aditya, sighing, turned to his brother "So? Care to explain why you were suspiciously absent from the medical room while your cousin was unconscious?"

Ruhaan didn't even took a moment to said "I was dealing with something more important,"

Silence.

Vedant snorted "Wow. Brutal! Your cousin was unconscious and you're out here prioritizing—what? A misplaced locker schedule?"

Shanaya remained silent, aware of why her Ruhaan bhai didn't come, and she'll accept his behavior without needing an explanation!

Ishika narrowed her eyes, studying him carefully, She knew he was hiding something.

"Liar"

Ruhaan turned to her, raising an eyebrow

"Excuse me?"

She crossed her arms. "You weren't 'dealing with something more important.' You were avoiding your sister"

prakriti gasped dramatically "Ohhh. Suspicious, VERY suspicious!"

Akshit nodded "Indeed, His behavior is highly unusual"

Ruhaan sighed, clearly done with all of them.

Which, of course, only made them more determined to get answers.

Ruhaan exhaled, clearly done with their nonsense. His cold gaze swept over them before he finally said,

"It doesn't matter to you."

Ishika scoffed, stepping forward. "That's not an answer, and you know it"

For a brief moment, their eyes locked.

A silent challenge.

A tension so sharp it could cut glass.

Neither of them looked away.

prakriti raised an eyebrow at the sudden intensity "Uhh… what's happening here?"

Vedant smirked "That's definitely not just academic rivalry"

Akshit adjusted his glasses like a detective "Intriguing!"

Shanaya sighed "This school is exhausting,"

But before anyone could push further, Ruhaan turned on his Shoes and walked away, making his way toward the discipline room—without another word.
