The second leg of hunting wasn't as adrenaline-fueled as the first. They rode their horses a short distance away from the creek, in a completely different direction from the one they came in.
They hadn't gotten very far when their horses slowed down, their tails swishing erratically as they weaved from side to side, agitated about something unseen.
Silvan frowned, surveying the area. "The horses seem to have picked up on something." He noted, slowing completely to a stop. "Are there predators in these woods?"
Alessio reaction was more grim, his hands tightening on the reins, "We should return to the castle."
Silvan also thought that was wise not about to find out for himself what had managed to upset their well-trained horses. He turned around only to freeze completely, his horse backing away without his guidance.
