Unable to bear the suspense, one of the female secretaries urged, "Quick, tell us. What did you find?"
The assistant handed the file to Ruan Hanlin and motioned for the others to come closer before whispering, "I found this by accident while checking Director Bai's bank transactions a few days ago."
Ruan Hanlin's eyes flickered at the assistant's words. He then opened the file and checked the transaction records carefully.
A few moments later, he paused, pointed at a single transaction, and said, "This transaction is very suspicious."
The assistant nodded and handed over another file to Ruan Hanlin. "This is the investigation report for that transaction."
After reading through it, Ruan Hanlin and the others were shocked.
Looking at the assistant, Ruan Hanlin asked in disbelief, "Are you sure this information is accurate?"
