The question rotated in my mind over and over again. What do I really feel for Daniel? Was I actually in love with him? No, no, it can't be. I can't be in love with him.
"I don't know," I replied sharply.
"Maria, I know you. " He called out with a high tone.
"I said I don't fucking know!" I yelled at him. My outburst was noticed by everyone present, I became so embarrassed.
Suddenly, My phone beeped and there was something unusual on my phone screen. There was a picture of Daniel on my home screen wallpaper. How was that possible?!
I didn't realize Frankie was watching my phone all along. "Ha…Ha, Maria you set his picture as your wallpaper, that's new."
"I don't have any clue how that got here." I defended myself.
And it was the truth, I don't have any clue how that picture got there.
"Wow unbelievable, so you're saying Daniel put that on himself?"
"Maybe, that is the only explanation for it," I answered, placing my palm on my head.
