That morning, Tendo Kyouichi saw the gray-edged notice on the bulletin board.
"Due to the unauthorized use of forbidden techniques, which poses a risk of dimensional interference, Fushimi Blade has been placed on the S-class Blockade Warrior List. Effective immediately, all of his East Cloud Academy identity privileges are terminated, and he is transferred to the Black Domain for observation."
"No unauthorized contact is allowed from any association or personnel."
The entire Swordsmanship Department was in an uproar.
Someone sneered, "He shouldn't have come to our department in the first place. What kind of swordsmanship is won by 'mental synchronization'?"
Another person whispered regretfully, "But he's the only person in our department who has beaten the Vice Minister..."
Kyouichi was silent. He knew that the moment Fushimi struck, it was all over.
[Act 2 — Inside the Black Domain]
The "Black Domain" is not on the main East Cloud campus but rather in a closed space column in its substructure.
There is no sunlight or internet access; only the most dangerous and indispensable combatants are permitted entry.
Fushimi Blade was numbered "X-12."
His sword was confiscated, and his battle power was reduced by 50%.
Still, he fought against various "remnants" from the otherworldly realm, analyzing their structural cracks.
"You're afraid that these 'foreign objects' will affect reality? Then let me figure out how to cut them apart."
He said.
The East Cloud executives were shocked to discover that Fushimi's Spiritual Tolerance Index was not only increasing, but doing so day by day.
He was evolving. He began forming his own "Sword Style Atlas" in the Black Domain.
[Act 3: Kyouichi's Choice]
Tendo Kyouichi can't take it anymore.
He breaks into the East Cloud main control tower and asks the training officer in charge, "Why did you abandon him?"
The training officer's expression remains unchanged:
"Is he a controllable variable? No."
"Then he can't appear on the 'Main Battle Force Layout Chart.'"
Kyouichi asked angrily in return.
"Are you laying out battle forces or hearts and minds?"
The training officer smiled coldly.
"Sooner or later, you will also realize that East Cloud can't become the top of the academy by who is strong. Rather, it relies on who is 'stable.'"
That night, Kyouichi went alone to the Sword Art Department dojo and practiced Tendo Ryu-Sanren Unbreakable over and over again.
He continued until the blade chipped and he fell to his knees.
He whispered,
"Fushimi, I won't wait for you here. I will forge my own path to break through their defenses."
[Epilogue: The Black God Returns to His Sword]
Fushimi was in the Black Realm, looking at a piece of otherworldly debris.
It was a section of the "World Target," a twisted yet stable nucleus of spatial rules.
He slowly drew his spare training sword from his back and closed his eyes.
"You guys want to lock me up.
"But I'm inclined to pull the sword out from here — from here."
The image froze.
A shattering sound.
Fushimi's sword, under a 50% seal, split the World Target.
