Kazuki woke up at 4 AM as usual and immediately began meditating. After an hour, he headed to the nearby playground for his morning run. He ran for a full hour before returning home, where he moved straight into his regular physical training—basic exercises like push-ups and squats.
Kazuki had been doing all of his training, except running, at home to avoid unnecessary interaction with others. Even outside the Uchiha compound, there were still a few people who treated him with disdain, though not as many as within the compound itself.
After two hours of physical training, Kazuki took a bath and had his usual breakfast: bread with peanut butter and some milk. At 9 AM sharp, he began his leaf concentration exercise, practicing it for four hours. Once finished, he headed to the market and bought a pack of 5 balloons for 20 Ryo before returning home.
Back in his room, Kazuki closed the windows as a precaution, filled one of the balloons with water, and held it in his palms.
'Alright,' Kazuki thought, 'the first step is to make the chakra spin in multiple directions simultaneously inside the water balloon until it bursts. Let's try this.'
He began pouring his chakra into the balloon and tried spinning it. However, his chakra control was still lacking, and he could only make the water tremble slightly—nowhere near enough to burst it.
Kazuki practiced for three hours straight until his chakra reserves were almost depleted.
Kazuki sighed, wiping sweat from his brow. He thought 'Even being a half-Uzumaki, my chakra reserves aren't nearly as large as Naruto's. I guess that makes sense—I'm only five years old. I'll see how much they grow as I age.'
Three months passed, and Kazuki finally turned six years old. His growth had been steady—he could now keep the leaf on his forehead for about eight minutes and run seven kilometers without stopping. His Rasengan training was also progressing. Though he still couldn't burst the balloon, he could now shake the entire thing violently, and he felt close to a breakthrough.
That morning, as he sat having breakfast, Kazuki thought, 'Now that I'm six, I can finally take the academy entrance exam.'
Kazuki frowned and muttered, "But the problem is where the fuck do i register? Maybe I should just go to the academy and ask."
He grabbed his things and started walking toward the academy. It took him around thirty minutes to get there.
At the reception, a ninja sat at the desk, shuffling through paperwork.
Kazuki approached and asked, "Excuse me, can you tell me when the academy will be conducting the entrance exam?"
The ninja glanced up and replied, "Entrance exam? That's in five days. You want to take it?"
Kazuki nodded. "Yeah, I do. How can I register?"
The ninja looked around, then asked, "Where's your guardian?"
Kazuki answered calmly, "I don't have a guardian. I live alone."
The ninja's brow furrowed slightly. "You live alone at such a young age? What's your name, kid? Let me check the records."
"It's Kazuki Uchiha."
The ninja typed into the computer, pulling up Kazuki's profile. He raised an eyebrow as he read through the data: orphan, expelled from the orphanage due to behavioral issues.
He gave a small smile. "Well Kazuki, you're lucky you came today. It's the last day for registration. But no worries—your name's on the list now. Be here five days from now at 6 AM sharp for the exam."
Kazuki bowed slightly. "Thank you very much, sir."
"It's no big deal, kiddo. Just make sure you train hard."
Kazuki left the academy with a sigh of relief. 'Man, that was tough—being all formal. I'm really not made for that kind of thing. But at least I got registered. That guy seemed kind of nice… after Teuchi, he's probably the only person who's treated me nicely. I guess outside the Uchiha clan, there are fewer people who know about my parents.'
Kazuki thought as he was walking towards his home. 'Anyway, I should reduce my training over the next five days. I need to be in good shape for the exam.'
Five days later, the day of the entrance exam finally arrived. After meditating and stretching, Kazuki made his way to the academy.
When he arrived, he was stunned to see hundreds of children gathered with their guardians. Some were clearly from prestigious clans, while others looked like orphans.
Kazuki gulped. 'Wow… after training so hard, I was sure I'd make it to the elite batch. But now, after seeing this crowd, I'm not so sure anymore.'
Soon, the noise of the crowd died down as a tall man with a bulky build stepped forward.
"I am Akihiko Nara, the proctor for today's exam," the man announced in a firm voice. "We will now begin the first stage of the test, which is—"
