Human Core System
Core Levels:
Levels 1–10 → this makes up Rank 1.
After level 10, a human advances to Rank 2, which again has Levels 1–10.
This pattern continues: Rank 3, Rank 4, upto rank 8
What ranking up does:
Each new Rank increases:
Mana density (how compressed and refined the mana inside the core is)
Mana storage capacity (how much total mana they can hold)
However — rank alone doesn't reflect battle power.

Key Performance Factors
To understand someone's real power, you need to look beyond their core rank.
1. Potential (Talent Rating):
Graded from D → C → B → A → S → SS → SSS (etc.).
This is the innate speed at which someone improves, their learning curve, and the natural limit of how far they can push.
A D-rank talent will struggle to break through low ranks.
An S-rank talent will blast through ranks and hit high tiers quickly.
2. Mana Potency:
Raw quality of their mana — how sharp, destructive, or effective it is, regardless of volume.
Someone with unusually potent mana can hit far above their rank.
3. Power Level (Battle Strength):
Practical combat application — technique, physical enhancement, weapon skill, aura mastery, body toughness.
A Rank 1 with Rank 3 battle strength is often called a "Rank 3 Knight" because they fight like one, even if their core hasn't caught up yet.

Beast Core System
Beasts work differently:
Every time a beast advances to the next rank, it generates a new core.
Rank 1 → 1 core
Rank 2 → 2 cores (dual core)
Rank 3 → 3 cores (tri-core), etc.
These cores amplify:
Raw mana production (beasts typically have much higher natural regeneration than humans)
Physical reinforcement (beasts naturally integrate their cores into muscle, bone, and instincts)
Magic mutation potential (beasts evolve spells or abilities tied to each core gained)
---
Important Differences:
Humans focus on refinement, learning, cultivation, and efficient control. Their single core grows stronger but requires training and breakthrough moments.
Beasts evolve more directly, gaining new cores that multiply their raw power, but they rely less on finesse and more on brute force or innate abilities.
---
Example Cases:
A Rank 1 human prodigy with S-rank potential and devastatingly potent mana could defeat a sloppy Rank 3 opponent.
In the wildest of cases
A Rank 2 beast with two powerful cores might still be weaker than a human Rank 2 mage if the human has superior battle techniques, artifacts, or tactical advantage.
