Chapter 19 - About the new them

📓 Month 1, Day 25

Time: 7:00 PM

After spending the entire evening observing, battling, and cross-referencing data, I feel like I've finally wrapped my head around the new forms of Trixie and Thorn—my two beloved partners who have become something far more extraordinary than I ever imagined. They've changed. Not just visually, but in temperament, strength, and typing. And I don't mean evolution—I mean transformation. These are Alolan variants, more stronger than their normal versions.

🩋 Trixie – Alolan Butterfree

Type: Bug / Fairy

Ability:Shield Dust

(Protects Trixie from additional effects of moves, like flinching or burn. Think of it as a magical forcefield of pure focus.)

Trixie always had a certain elegance, but now she's a vision. She no longer flutters like a skittish moth—she glides, as if she's floating on invisible threads of moonlight. Her wings shimmer with a breathtaking gradient of pink and blue, like someone dipped a butterfly into stardust and let it dry in a dream. Gone is the typical Bug/Flying typing—she's Bug/Fairy now, and oh, does it show.

In battle, she's calm and deliberate. Almost like she knows what her opponent will do before they act. Her control over fairy-type moves is surprisingly refined. Her Special Defense has noticeably increased. So has her Speed, and interestingly, her Attack as well, which gives her a surprising edge.

After uploading her new data into the Pokédex, here's how it documented her:

Trixie – Alolan Variant

A unique regional form of Butterfree discovered in remote Alolan regions saturated with fairy energy. Its wings glisten with prismatic scales, and its gentle aura calms even the most aggressive foes.

Typing: Bug/Fairy

Ability: Shield Dust

Notable Moves:

Fairy Wind – Her signature opener. It dances off her wings like scattered starlight.

Draining Kiss – Surprisingly aggressive in utility. She steals energy with elegance.

Stun Spore – Classic Butterfree move, but now with a magical glittery twist.

Silver Wind – Re-discovered during training; both Bug and Fairy visual synergy.

Electro Web – Slows opponents, perfect for setting up her other techniques.

Freeze Web(custom technique) – A trick I developed with her; creates a slow-spreading, icy barrier that immobilizes over time.

Thorn – Alolan Beedrill

Type: Bug / DarkAbility:Sniper

(Powers up critical hits. Thorn's strikes are like an assassin's—precise and fatal when they count most.)

Where Trixie is grace, Thorn is fury wrapped in shadows. He's not just more aggressive—he's tactical. A hunter, not just a fighter. His wings no longer buzz with urgency; they hum with menace. His black-and-silver chitin glints under the moonlight, and his stingers look like they were dipped in venom and obsidian.

Unlike standard Beedrill who focus purely on Speed and Attack, Thorn gained an unusual bonus: Special Attack. At first, I thought it was a glitch, but during sparring, he launched a charged Electro Web that crackled with so much force, it left a Alolan ratata reeling. That was no ordinary web—it had venomous precision and elemental bite. He retains echoes of his poison past, but they've evolved into something more sinister.

Thorn – Alolan Variant

A predatory adaptation of Beedrill found in deep, storm-shadowed Alolan jungles. This variant utilizes stealth and sharp intellect, preferring to dismantle its prey slowly, then strike when it's most vulnerable.

Typing: Bug/Dark

Ability: Sniper

Notable Moves:

Pursuit – Especially dangerous when foes try to retreat. He thrives on their panic.

Fury Cutter – Starts small, ends with a bang. Boosted even more when he scores a crit.

Feint Attack – A surefire strike that can't miss. Deceptive and devastating.

Toxic Spikes – A remnant from his Weedle lineage. Still poisons with eerie precision.

Electro Web – Surprisingly useful for cornering targets. His is fast and laced with static.

Poison Web(custom technique) – My invention, but he took to it naturally. Traps the foe with venom-threaded silk, lowering their Defense over time.

And I can't wait to see what happens next.
