Dear brave readers of The Incursed One,
It is with a heavy heart — and a growling stomach — that I come before you today.
You see… I made a mistake. Not a tiny typo or a missing comma. No, no, no. I committed the ancient sin of uploading Chapters 5 and 6 that didn't fit the sacred scroll of the storyline. They were like trying to shove a dragon into a teacup — chaotic, confusing, and slightly illegal in three kingdoms.
Yes, I, your most loyal Shadow — author of mysterious prophecies, wielder of deadlines, and occasional snacker of instant noodles — uploaded two chapters that made even me go, "Wait… who wrote this? Oh. Me." The plot was wobbling like a jelly on stilts, and no matter how hard I tried to push forward, Chapter 7 just looked at me and said, "You want me to follow that mess? Please."
So I did what any noble, overdramatic fantasy author would do…
I deleted them. I stared into the void, the void stared back, and then I pressed that horrifying button. DELETE. Twice.
But fear not! For out of destruction comes rebirth. And plot clarity. And new jokes.
On 30th May 2025, I shall bless your souls with not just a corrected Chapter 5 and 6…
But also Chapter 7, the long-lost heir to the plotline throne.
Yes. Three chapters.
In one day.
Why?
Because I, the divine Shadow, will sacrifice sleep, food, and possibly my sanity to deliver them to you. I will enter "Author Ultra Instinct Mode," fuelled by caffeine, regret, and the voices of my characters yelling at me in the shower.
Some call it madness.
I call it destiny.
And indigestion.
But wait! That's not all. As a bonus blessing from the multiverse, I must also speak of my other novel, Looping Time — the wild, time-twisting adventure where characters fall in love, get punched by fate, and loop harder than a broken music track. The next arc, Awakening Powers, begins on June 1st, and it's gonna hit harder than a villain's monologue in a thunderstorm.
So stay tuned. Whether you're here for swords, curses, time loops, princesses, masked identities, or author breakdowns — I promise, the story's about to explode in the best way possible.
This is not just an update.
This is a god-gift, hand-delivered to you by me — Shadow, your dearest author, your favorite chaos summoner, your humble mistake-maker.
Thank you for sticking with me. Now excuse me while I go whisper battle chants to my keyboard and prepare the ritual sacrifice of my sleep.
– Shadow
Still alive. Still writing. Probably hallucinating dragons.
