Chapter 61 - Chapter 61: Wand, Silver Mane

When Hagrid brought Harry and the others out of the Forbidden Forest, the sky had already begun to brighten.

Filch stood waiting outside the wooden cabin. As soon as he saw the group emerge unharmed from the woods, a flash of disappointment crossed his face.

"What a pity..." Filch muttered under his breath. He took a step forward, but before he could speak further, a large hand shoved him aside.

Hagrid glared furiously at Malfoy.

"Scaring your classmates in the Forbidden Forest? I'm telling Professor Snape about this!"

Malfoy shrugged it off. He knew full well Snape wouldn't punish him.

"How boring. Can we go back now?" he grumbled, walking toward the castle without waiting for Hagrid's reply. "I'd much rather be asleep in my warm dormitory than waste time in that dark, damp forest."

"That idiot... sorry, I mean, Slytherin," Hagrid muttered to Robert, then added in a lower voice, "So, the Centaurs didn't steal the Unicorn's body?"

"No," Robert said firmly.

Harry glanced at Robert, then nodded in agreement.

"That's strange. How did the Unicorn's body just disappear?" Hagrid scratched his head, then turned and headed toward his cabin.

Robert, Harry, and Neville followed Filch back to the castle. Along the way, Harry kept looking back at Robert, as if he had something to say, but he held his tongue until they reached the Great Hall.

After spending the night in the Forbidden Forest, their stomachs were growling, and food was all they could think about.

Ron, Hermione, and the Weasley twins were already at the table. They had just finished their own detention and looked equally famished.

Although it wasn't quite breakfast time, as soon as they sat down, platters of toast, fragrant sausages, and crispy bacon appeared on the long table.

Robert pulled out his wand and gave it a gentle wave. A shimmering spread of lingonberry jam evenly coated the top of his toast.

"Do you really need to use magic for that?" Fred asked, puzzled.

"It's like looking at myself when I first started here—wanting to do everything with magic," George said, placing the pumpkin juice pitcher back down. "But I stopped doing that ages ago."

Robert didn't reply. He kept using his wand to cut sausages and butter the toast with quiet precision.

"It's really beautiful," Hermione said suddenly. "I've never seen a wand like that. Did you make it yourself?"

"It's just a wand..." Ron muttered, not really paying attention. But when he finally looked up, his words caught in his throat.

"Yes, I think it's very beautiful too," Robert said, gently stroking the wand in his hand.

[Silver Mane]

[Whomping Willow (Unicorn), Fluffy's tooth, twelve and a half inches]

[Status: Perfect]

[Properties:]Arrogance: The Unicorn suppresses the opponent's wand properties, reducing compatibility between both parties (even when turned into a wand, the Unicorn still looks down on all living beings).Sacred: White magic effect +50%, casting speed +30%, magic range +30%; dark magic effect -90%.Purification: Enhanced effect against curses and dark creatures (+100% resistance).Magic Break: Attack magic gains +20% penetration with a chance to shatter defensive spells.Tear: After damage is dealt, counter-spell resistance is reduced by 30%.[Exclusive Magic: Splendor Monocerotis]

The Unicorn's soul surges from the wand's core to launch a full-force charge at the target.

Robert had never seen a wand quite so powerful. He'd always believed the Unicorn formed the core, but in fact, Fluffy's tooth held that position—while the Unicorn contributed to the wand's body.

Even more astonishing were the five enhancement effects: the lowest bonus was +20%, and the highest a staggering +100%.

Judging by their nature, the first three traits seemed to stem from the Unicorn, while the last two belonged to Fluffy—matching their respective positions in the wand.

And then, there was the name. This was the only wand Robert had ever seen with both a name and an exclusive spell.

Silver Mane.

He took a deep breath, struggling to suppress the desire to test its exclusive magic.

A thought crossed his mind—could this wand rival the legendary Elder Wand?

Unfortunately, when he had last visited the Headmaster's office, Dumbledore hadn't been carrying it. Otherwise, Robert might have had a chance to compare the two.

"Oh! I remember now!" George suddenly shouted, drawing everyone's attention.

"This is the wand you made from the Whomping Willow, isn't it?"

"Yes, that's right," Robert nodded.

"Unbelievable," Fred said in awe. "I've never seen a wand with golden patterns. It almost looks familiar—if the tip were thinner, it'd look just like a Unicorn's horn."

"Hmm..." Harry raised his head and opened his mouth, but once again chose not to say anything.

"If you like this kind of wand, it's not impossible," Robert said.

"Forget it," Fred waved him off. "We can't afford a second wand right now. A wand made from the Whomping Willow must be insanely expensive."

"No, I didn't mean for you to buy a new wand—look at this." Robert pulled out a thumb-sized bottle and placed it on the table.

"Wand dyeing spray," he explained. "Just spray it on your wand to change its color to something you like."

"Impossible!" George blurted out. "We've tried that—no dye sticks to wand wood, not even magical ones."

"That's only because you weren't using the right formula," Robert said, smiling. "Do you remember my last name?"

"Ollivander... Oh!" The twins exchanged a look of sudden understanding.

"How much is it?" they asked, practically bouncing in their seats.

"Ten galleons a bottle," Robert said. "But since we went through detention together, I'll give you a special price—one galleon each."

"That's a deal we can't refuse," George said, smacking his lips. "But can you even make a profit at that price?"

"I do just fine," Robert replied.

"..."

"You're a real businessman," the twins said, giving him matching looks of exaggerated disapproval.

"It's alright," Robert added. "Green and silver ones are thirty galleons, no discounts."

"Now that's reasonable."

Eventually, Fred and George purchased gold and red sprays. Hermione hesitated briefly before buying a blue one. A galleon was a significant amount for her, but with the school year nearly over, she could afford it.

Ron also wanted one but didn't have the money. He could only look on enviously.

Ten minutes later, breakfast was over and the group left the Great Hall.

Back in the dormitory, Neville collapsed onto his bed and was snoring within seconds.

The first class wasn't until ten, so they still had time for some rest.

Ron, exhausted, rolled over to sleep, but before he drifted off, he asked, "Harry, what's up with you? You've been quiet all morning. Something bothering you?"

"No, it's nothing," Harry replied. Then after a pause, he asked, "Ron, do you think a Unicorn could be made into a wand core?"

"Of course," Ron said with a yawn. "Did you forget? My old wand had Unicorn tail hair."

"Not tail hair," Harry said softly. "I mean, the entire Unicorn."

"What?" Ron mumbled. "Harry, you're so tired you're talking nonsense."

He rolled over, mumbling, "Unicorns are huge. How could a wand even hold one? Not even a giant could use something like that..."

"But I saw it with my own eyes. Robert admitted it too," Harry whispered. "Hagrid said he was joking... but was he?"

No one answered.

Ron was already asleep, soft snores rising from behind the hangings.
