Chapter 17 - CHAPTER 17 – THE THREE SECT MASTERS.

In the living quarters of Solanky, he sat on a sofa and read the manual, which contained some basic knowledge of the sect. In the manual, Solanky learned about several ways a disciple could hone their skills through augmented virtual reality training sessions, how they could purchase and request resources from the sect, how to gather wealth and points in the sect, forbidden areas off-limits to newbies, and how to access or check the points reward systems.

Solanky finished reading the manual and walked to his residence's training space. The newbies' residences were five square kilometers in size, and the training quarters took up two-thirds of it. When Solanky entered the training quarters, he saw a shelf in the corner of the room where some gadgets were neatly arranged on it. He moved closer, and he found a transparent helmet with some engravings on it.

He tapped the amulet he received as a member of the sect from Venerable Leo and the tokens. He scanned the helmet with the amulet, and a message popped up in front of him in mid-air indicating that the helmet was the medium he was supposed to use to gain access to the augmented virtual reality in case he wanted to train or spar with the other newbies. He placed the helmet down and walked towards the center of his training quarters; he found out that there were countless engravings edged onto the floor, and there were traces of crystals embedded in the engravings.

Solanky sat down to steady his mind and body; he calmed himself down and got accustomed to his new environment. He stood up and tried to use elemental control on his surrounding environment, but he realized his control of the element was restricted, and his control was only 20% of what he could normally control.

He shook his head and said to him, "Things are very troublesome for weaker beings in the god realm. There seems to be a restriction and a higher threshold one has to attain before they could do certain things, or is it because of the laws of the god realm sigh…" The other newbies also discovered that the power they used to show in the lower realm was now lacking; they stopped thinking about it and familiarized themselves with their living quarters and manual.

The day in the sect came to a peaceful end successfully, and a new day arrived. Up above the continent of the newbies, a huge winged human-like figure manifested from the nothingness and looked at the continent and said, "Call them out." Beside the figure was Venerable Leo. Venerable Leo nodded respectfully and said, "Everyone come out to meet the second sect master." All the newbies, including Solanky, rushed outside their living quarters, stood at the entrance, and bowed to greet the second sect master, saying, "Greetings, second sect master."

The second sect master nodded and said, "You are all welcome to the Sky Hybrid Sect. I believe you have all read the manual." All the newbies responded, "Yes, sect master." The second sect master shrank his size from a few kilometers to just six feet; as he was descending, one could see that he had three separate pairs of wings behind him, and his skin emitted a white radiant light.

He stopped his descent mid-air and said, "I am Zuloch, the second sect master of your sect, and I have personally come here on behalf of the other two sect masters to receive you." Zuloch waved his hand; a rock fragment formed from nothing, and some way, somehow, all the 800 newbies were standing on that rock fragment. They were amazed because they didn't feel anything; it was like they had already been standing on the rock fragment even before they greeted Zuloch. Solanky was shocked but wasn't shocked like the others because the moment that rock fragment was formed deep within his bloodline, he felt a slight shift in the space-time around him.

Zuloch looked satisfied at the expression of these newbies and said, "Now I will take you to the main hall so that you meet the sect masters and some of your seniors." Zuloch grew to 1km tall, flapped his massive wings, and shot into the distance, holding the rock fragment in his palm. His speed reached 90 times the speed of light, and he maintained that speed at a constant pace. Although he flew at an incredible speed, it didn't seem to affect the space-time of the rock fragment the newbies were all on.

Solanky was amazed because this feat was difficult for dimensional beings to do, as dimensional beings would have to constantly check on the space-time restrictions and make adjustments as the speed fluctuates, reduces, or remains constant. Solanky looked down at the rock fragment with his eye-observing technique and found out that the rock fragment had become an extension of Zuloch's hand. He marveled and said to himself, "This might be the mysterious god level."

They then appeared as a huge palace suspended in space with countless universes on its surface. Zuloch said, "We have arrived; this is the main hall of the sect. Although you aren't bound by any rules, you have to know that it is off-limits to even the god of gods, as the pressure here can easily kill any being below the dimensional god level."

This statement greatly shocked all of them, and while they were in their state of shock, a powerful pressure descended, and Zuloch said, "Third brother, you are already here; interesting." The newbies looked around, but they couldn't see anything or anyone, but they felt that in their bloodlines a powerful being was watching from another parallel dimension. Solanky felt that powerful being was directly looking at him. A hairy ape-man who was dressed in a golden robe walked out of a separate dimension and looked at the newbies, especially Solanky, because he could identify the other newbies' race. He knew that race, but he couldn't do the same with Solanky, which made him more curious. The ape-man introduced himself as Okafor, and he was the third sect master of the sect. Zuloch, with the newbies in his palms, walked into the palace with Okafor to meet the first sector master, whom all the disciples called ancestor.

The moment they stepped into the palace hall, time, space, reality, and matter were all frozen, and they could only see a red-haired woman sitting on the throne. Zuloch and Okafor bowed slightly and said, "Big sister, these are the newbies." The red-haired woman smiled at the two ancestors and extended her arm, and then the rock fragment flew and landed in her palm. This shocked the newbies because they could see the red-haired woman was about six feet in height, but the moment the rock fragment flew towards her, the space warped, but she was still six feet. Their rock fragment with a diameter of thousands of kilometers was still the same, but before the ancestor, it looked like a coin in her hands.

The red-haired woman asked Zuloch and Okafor to leave, as she wanted to inspect the potential of the new disciples; they nodded and teleported away. The red-haired woman placed the rock fragment in mid-air, and she transformed it into a dragon who was two thousand light-years long. This shocked all the new disciples except Solanky because they hadn't seen a dragon that huge before.

Solanky spoke out loud in amazement, saying, "A primordial ancient dragon." This shocked the ancestor; she blew a gust of air onto the other newbies, and they fell into a deep sleep. The ancestor then looked at Solanky with a fiery gaze and said, "How did you know about my race? Speak up now." The space around Solanky started cracking like it was glass.
