Chapter 25 - CHAPTER 25 – THE MASTERLESS HORDE NEST

They then came to the edge of a supercluster that was five hundred and forty billion light-years in size. Seth entered the supercluster and urged Solanky to follow him closely; Solanky did as he said. The moment Solanky entered, he saw two huge oval-shaped structures that stood in the void. Solanky was amazed and asked Seth about the oval-shaped structures.

Seth smiled and said, "These are two of the four gifts the master left behind; they are called horde nests, and as you can see, they stand up to twenty light-years tall." Solanky was shocked and asked in an astonished tone, "Could… could it be the renowned horde nest the demons and devils use in the god realm?"

Seth replied, "Those things aren't worthy of being called a horde nest, because those hordes are mindless, and they only know how to attack and not defend.

Which makes them more vulnerable to counterattacks." Solanky walked towards the horde nest. The moment he got within a one-kilometer radius of it, he felt an unfathomable pressure emanate from the nest. Solanky had cold sweat trickling down his spine; he asked Seth, "What in the world is that thing? The nests captured by the power beings of the god realm are nowhere close to this in terms of pressure alone."

Seth smiled and said, "Those horde nests you see in the god realm are nothing but embryonic hordes of forsaken, and they haven't even surpassed the incubation stage, and the strongest among them is just comparable to fourth-dimensional beings." Solanky was shocked to hear this because the horde he saw in the god realm had forsaken the level of god emperor. Seth waved his hand, and he teleported to the tip of the oval-shaped horde with Solanky and said, "But the horde nest is on a whole new level."

Solanky asked him how it was on a whole new level. Seth formed seals with his hands and slapped the surface of the nest, and a pattern of engravings lit up on the surface of the nest. He then told Solanky to look down. Solanky did, and what he saw greatly shocked him. There were tens of billions of forsaken beings curled up in a thin transparent layer, and the auras they emanated were no less than sect master Zuloch. Seth said, "These forsaken are in the infant stage and are still growing; don't be surprised I had the same expression as you when the master showed me."

They then teleported to the next nest, and Seth said with a sorrowful tone, "Although this nest looks like the forsaken horde nest, it isn't; it belongs to the last corpses of the ancient devil-gods above the mysterious level in the entire infinite source worlds."

Solanky asked how this could be. Seth replied by saying, "We were lied to by our own comrade, that corpse the old man stole. He is the one who deceived the entire race of ancient devil-gods, and we were ambushed by an unknown force who annihilated my race, but luckily for me, I survived due to the master's intervention, and I was able to get revenge for my race."

Seth and Solanky descended into the nest, and Solanky could feel the pressure emanating from these corpses was much stronger than the horde nest, and it was even stronger than the sect masters of the god realm. Seth stepped forward and bowed to the corpses. Solanky also stepped beside him and bowed. Seth asked, "Why did you bow? You have no connection or karma with them." Solanky replied by saying, "I am bowing because I know they didn't go down without a fight. In the face of absolute power, they still defied that power and fought with their all, so they deserve a bow from me."

Seth was moved and said, "The master fulfilled their wish by preserving their life cores so that worthy people can inherit the power and techniques or even be used to stop another calamity from happening." Seth formed seals; the restriction on the nest was broken. He said, "Drop your blood on it, and they will all acknowledge you as their master." Solanky was shocked and refused because he didn't want to use them as pawns. Seth shook his head and said, "This is what they would want, to live on even if it means becoming a pawn to you." Solanky hesitantly said, "These one thousand ancient devil-gods will be used for the right cause, and I will make sure worthy people inherit their power in the future." He made a slash in his palm, and the blood dripped on the surface of the nest; the moment it did, the eyes of the corpses all glowed with a golden color.

The patterns of engravings on the nest all shined brightly, and the life energy of every forsaken was recorded into Solanky's mind, and he could feel their power. Seth said, "Now, for the last present, I can't give it to you personally; you need to obtain it when you officially reach the god of creation level, but before that, I will imprint the fighting techniques of the ancient devil-gods in your memory, and you can create your own techniques."

Solanky nodded and asked, "What about this supercluster?" Seth said, "Since we agreed that you can't reveal your true power within the next ten thousand years, you only need to leave a drop of blood essence here to help you make use of the time acceleration. Whenever the consciousness in that blood enters the space, it can buy you time to comprehend."

Seth said, "Sit down. I will elaborate to you how you can perfectly control the horde in the shadows." Solanky was excited because he could use the forsaken to level the entire god realm with over ten billion forsaken all at the mysterious or obviousness level. Even a god of creation or a devil of destruction would have to think twice before confronting such a horde.

Seth raised his hands, and a crystalline rock fragment of a hundred kilometers was formed from the void. He then told Solanky to sit cross-legged at the center. Solanky did as he said. Seth flew around the continent forming seals, and he stopped and then teleported the continent above the forsaken horde nest. An array of engravings appeared on the rock fragment, and some characters were suspended in mid-air. When Solanky saw this, he instantly understood it was a way to effortlessly control the nest. He read it and began reciting the words and formed seals with his hand.

For about half an hour, he completely learned the technique and used it. The moment he used the technique, he stopped midway and recited the words back. The huge horde nests began to shrink at a rapid speed; they shrunk to just a few inches and entered into the body of Solanky. Seth smiled and said, "It has been ten years since you entered this space, although ten days have just passed in the outside world. I guess you need to test your strength on something." Solanky smiled and nodded.

Seth stretched his hand a glass screen appeared, revealing the moment when the bloody sect agreed to kill him. Seth smiled and said, "Now the toughness of your body is comparable to beings at the level of the god of gods, even with you not using special techniques." Solanky stood up from the rock and bowed to Seth and prepared to leave, but Seth stopped him and said, "You need to wait for ten thousand years before you exact your revenge on the old man you call Zenom."

Solanky nodded, bowed, and left the space. Being a dimension god in disguise and having the manifested power of a god-emperor, his speed was unparalleled under the dimensional gods. He flew at speeds reaching 80,000m/s and left the lake. The moment he appeared above the lake, he spread out his spiritual sense, and everything in the trial space and forbidden space was engraved into his memory, including all the bloody sea sect disciples sent to kill him.

Solanky landed from the skies and pretended to walk in circles as if he had lost his direction. Out of nowhere, a disciple jumped towards Solanky with his spear pointed at Solanky's back. Solanky intentionally bent down as if he was picking something from the ground, and the spear missed its target. The disciple was fuming in rage just because he missed the target. The leader of the group was a god-emperor-level being called Nokopolie. Nokopolie was the finest of the younger generation of new disciples of the Bloody Sea sect, and he was favored by the upper echelon of the sect because of his talent.

Nokopolie gave his order to the other disciples to kill Solanky because he thought it was unworthy of him to personally do that. The disciples agreed, and the strongest amongst them, who was half a step into the god emperor level, was the first to act. He said in a loud, commanding tone, "Prepare to die," as he dashed forward with two daggers in both hands toward Solanky.

Solanky did not dodge the attack from the disciple of the Bloody Sea sect who was charging at him, but he stood in a defensive stance to welcome the attacker. This startled the attacker and other disciples of the Bloody Sea sect. Nokopolie said, "Just finish, this low weakling." The attacker reached before Solanky and slashed down.
