Yoongi glanced at Nora, he could see she was really excited. She had opened the car window, letting in the cool breeze that carried the scent of fresh water and pine woods. The breeze blew her long ginger hair, scattering it all over her face creating a clear picture of excitement and freedom. The sound of the waves was music to her ears and the sea breeze was bliss for her skin. The entire stretch of the road covers the seaside, allowing a clear and wonderful view of the East Sea as they drove. Meanwhile Yoongi kept glancing towards her with a proud smile on his face, his right hand on the wheel as he drove and his left hand on the window sill. He brushed his hair with hand as he said " Your head has been out of the window since we drove off, you might catch a cold".
Nora turned towards him, her full hair covered her face. She brushed it back revealing her excited face "It's been so long i had a road trip, let me enjoy it"
Yoongi glanced at her, his eyebrows raised " If you catch a cold, you won't be able to participate you know that."
Nora quickly closed the window, she smiled at him " I will listen to you more often".
He chuckled lightly. Nora adorably starred at him. " If you stare like that we might not be able to make it to the venue" Yoongi said, his eyes still on the stretched road.
Nora knew she wasn't qualified yet to participate in the music video but he had included her in the dancers list. It had only been a month since she came, many others trained for months before they engage in any official duty. "Thank you, i wouldn't have been able to participate if not for you"
Yoongi slightly glanced at her, he pursed his lips "Why do you say so?" He huffed. "Do you think i would include you because i pity you or something?. I'm not that reckless. I guess you weren't confident enough about your dancing skills, i don't just include anyone in my activities".
Nora pouted, her head lowered like a suckling kid. She raised her head, her lips laced with a mischievous smile " I guess i'm talented right?"
Yoongi pursed his lips refusing to speak up. He wasn't ready to give her the assurance she needed.
Nora clicked her lips, eyeing him" You are really stingy with compliments ". She tucked her hair behind her ear, leaning on the car seat. She faced the window, her glassy eyes starring at the clear seaside with a sad smile.
It was her first time to see the sea. She could remember her classmates often talking about how beautiful the Norwegian sea was but she never got to see it. Her brother had gone on an excursion but her father had refused to pay for her ticket. He had said she didn't need the trip, she could clearly remember her mother supporting him. They had denied her of everything she had ever wanted, a bright and free childhood which she could never get again. She tightly folded her hands in grief, rubbing it roughly on her laps.
"Are you alright?" Yoongi had noticed her mood flip, he slightly glanced at her trying hard to maintain his eyes on the road. He didn't know how Nora ended up in Korea or anything about her but he wanted to hear it himself. She had been too desperate to come to Korea that she had even lied to Seo Joon.
Nora bit her lips hard, she looked at him for a while and heaved a sigh. She turned back to the window "The Norwegian sea was just 6 hours away from my town but i can't believe i've never been there. I thought it would be the first sea i would see but it ended up being a sea i didn't even know in a foreign country. I guess there are other things i have missed out on".
Yoongi starred at her, he couldn't see her expression her hair had covered her face but her voice was low and sad. "Your first time will be more memorable then".
Nora turned towards him, her face laced with utter confusion. What was he trying to say?
"You would be seeing the sea for the first time and also performing your first event".
Nora unconsciously smiled. He didn't comfort her directly but he knew the right things to say. "You 're right. Maybe it's my time now".
"You can write down anything you missed out, we can do it when we have time. I guess i also missed out on somethings". His face was indifferent, his gaze stuck to the road.
Nora picked up her phone and started typing on her notepad "Brace yourself, i have alot i missed out on".
