Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: What Did You Do?

The silent night sky, with the clear moonlight, reflected Zhishui's pale side profile.

Yuzhibo looked back at the moonlight with calm eyes, as if in this moment nothing in the world could stir his heart anymore.

"Actually, I've participated in several clan meetings before…"

Zhishui's voice sounded like a murmur, but in the quiet environment, it clearly reached Tuta's ears.

"But unfortunately, there are many people in this land and very few who are truly wise."

His voice carried a sigh as he continued,

"So many opinions… in the end, it's just the majority deciding something foolish."

As he spoke, his gaze slowly shifted back to the round moon.

The moonlight reflected in his eyes, and the reflection in his Mangekyo Sharingan emitted a strange and serene glow, revealing a deep and unique power.

As if communing with the moonlight, with an expression Tuta couldn't understand, Zhishui appeared lost in thought.

On the surface, Yuzhibo Zhishui was revealing deep emotional thoughts.

But the power radiating from him wasn't concentrated—it drifted aimlessly in the void, like a rare and precious flower gently blooming.

Was this truly just a quiet night for the Uchiha clan? Was there no grief or anger?

Suddenly, Zhishui gently sighed, his tone carrying faint sorrow.

"The moon is beautiful, endlessly so… what a pity."

Hearing this, Tuta felt a strange alertness rise in him.

Endlessly beautiful?

"The so-called love of the Uchiha clan is always selfish, no matter who it's for."

"Even if drenched in warm and traditional love, we cannot escape this fate."

Speaking to this point, his voice still carried that gentle sorrow and helplessness…

"Back then, I talked to him earnestly once. But he only lowered his head, and I thought I was the crazy one. Everyone else thought I was being dramatic."

Tuta's heart, hidden in the shadows, suddenly stirred with curiosity.

What exactly did Zhishui say that even someone like Itachi thought was madness?

As if anticipating his question, Zhishui chuckled softly and murmured again to himself.

"Hmm… I just told him everything that would happen in the future. But unfortunately, the village didn't believe me and thought I had a mental issue."

As he spoke, his smile faded, and his tone returned to its calm and indifferent tone.

"But that was my true intention. I just wanted him to remember my words when the end comes and let them plant a deep concept in his heart."

"A concept?"

Tuta was full of confusion, completely unable to grasp the real meaning behind Zhishui's words.

Zhishui didn't seem to notice Tuta's confusion and continued softly:

"By the time the moment of the end of life arrives, he'll truly recall what I once said."

"At that point, the concept of space will solidify in his deepest heart and can no longer be erased."

"Solidify?"

Tuta's heart was still full of doubt, as if he were slowly sinking into a misty swamp.

But he vaguely felt that the concept might be related to the Mangekyo Sharingan.

Zhishui lowered his head, and in his eyes emerged a rare tenderness and sorrow.

"It's a pity. These things, even if Itachi hears them through my Sharingan, he probably won't understand… After all, he's still too naive."

A pause later, a faint twitch appeared at the corner of Tuta's lips—

"Thank you…"

Zhishui no longer paid attention to these details. His eyes once again looked up at the dark sky. His gaze was deep and boundless.

Zhishui slowly spoke again, with a heavy tone as if bearing the weight of fate—

"In the end, forbearance will lead to destruction."

Those words sounded like an echo from the depths of darkness. Zhishui's voice was low, calm, and carried an indescribable solemnity.

Every word seemed to carve into the air, directly piercing into the deepest heart of the hidden Uchiha, Tuta.

Destruction…

That word had an eerie magic, carrying infinite weight, instantly shattering the calmness of Tuta's spirit.

His head jerked slightly as he suddenly became aware of something wrong.

Illusion!

Tuta's inner self was suddenly awakened, rapidly gathering the power in his Sharingan to shatter the illusion around him.

At that moment, Zhishui still stood in the moonlight, calmly gazing at the night sky, continuing in a steady voice:

"When there's bias in cognition, severe deviation arises, leading to incorrect judgments and behaviors."

"Cognition is the process of perception, understanding, and reasoning of the external world."

"It covers how humans acquire information, process it, and apply all cognitive functions. Cognition is the basis of our activities, and it determines the truth we perceive."

Those words felt like a chant echoing endlessly. Word by word, they clearly entered Tuta's ears.

The Sharingan turned into a strange vortex, tearing apart the illusion. Tuta's simple resistance was like piercing thorns.

At the same time, the moonlight gradually intensified, turning into a chilling red as blood and moon merged, radiating extreme terror.

Through the lines of the Sharingan, Tuta deeply felt that this illusion, once weak, was growing rapidly stronger—causing his nerves to tighten to the limit.

It was as if he could see the heart of the Uchiha clan.

As soon as an Uchiha fell in battle, fresh blood gushed from their chests like a fountain, forming a blood river…

The immense red blood flowed across the land, reflecting the night sky, merging with the moonlight and Mangekyo Sharingan.

As the symbols of life gradually faded, Zhishui's Sharingan began releasing an unprecedented light, with hidden images continuously surfacing and becoming increasingly clear.

Zhishui continued to watch the blood river silently, expressionless, as if everything happening was already expected.

With deep eyes, he gazed calmly in his own direction.

It was as if he saw through illusion and into reality…

Zhishui slightly turned his face, his eyes swirling with the deep patterns of the Sharingan, and said in a low voice:

"When cognition collapses, reality collapses with it. Everything done stems from the errors caused by biased cognition…"

As he spoke, Zhishui looked up at the sky.

"Before Shisui died, his greatest wish was for the village and clans to coexist in peace…"

Then Zhishui's expression softened, and he muttered,

"Tonight, his wish came true…"

There was a long silence before Uchiha Tuta finally couldn't hold back:

"What did you do?"
