Chapter 17 - Separation #2

That morning, newspapers spread quickly, carrying the news that shook the world: "Murphy the Legend Executed – A Major Violation That Shattered the Viking Brotherhood." Across the globe, the global elite began to react.

In a dark room filled with cigar smoke, a large man with a round belly and a stern face stared at the paper with eyes full of rage. He crumpled the newspaper, threw it aside, and shouted, "IMPOSSIBLE!" Moments later, his voice trembled as he added, "WHAT DID YOU DO, MURPHY?!"

Elsewhere in the world, Joker—who had once despised Murphy's actions—stared at the same paper. His red eyes glared sharply, and though he had once belittled Murphy, this time, a clear sadness was etched on his face. He let out a long sigh, then whispered, "A true legend, even if we walked different paths."

Meanwhile, in a hidden room, four mysterious figures gathered. They spoke in hushed voices, discussing the hot topic spreading across the world:

Figure 1: "Murphy… executed? That's not part of the plan."

Figure 2: "He was too bold. Too many people knew."

Figure 3: "Should we act?"

Figure 4: "Not yet. Joker is the one who must move in this conflict."

At this moment, Zeco walked slowly along the ship's deck with Me, Charlotte and Carla, accompanied by the sea breeze gently brushing against their faces. Amid the boundless expanse of the ocean, they savored the crisp, salty air, their eyes lost in the endless rhythm of waves rolling without rest. Carla, with a knowing something bad news, she's smile, said, "Zeco, don't read the newspaper today. Enjoy your vacation."

Charlotte quickly chimed in,

"Are you always this serious and stubborn? Honestly." Her tone was teasing but sharp.

Zeco turned, a little confused, then sighed. "Alright, alright!"

Unbeknownst to them, the world around them was trembling. But for now, they walked together, enjoying a fleeting peace.

Elsewhere, in a wide and sealed chamber.

Figure 1:

"I think we should erase this news immediately and wipe every trace."

Figure 2:

"Eh? Why would we do that?!"

Figure 1:

"This story is fine to be discussed for now, but if it spreads further, it will throw the world into chaos. War will come sooner than we expect."

Figure 3:

"You're right, I support your view. What about you?"

Figure 4:

"No one expected it would come to this. Whatever happens, prevent this chaos from becoming a war."

Figure 1:

"Anyone know?! Where is Joker?!"
