Noah gently shook his head. He could clearly see the faint disappointment in her eyes.
"I didn't say I wouldn't invest here, Alexis…"
Her smile returned, and he couldn't help but feel glad to see it.
"You have my word, Alexis—I will help you. However, I want you to be clear about something important: I will not be involved in managing the company's day-to-day operation."
He explained his reasons—how he might need to travel more often, and how working behind a desk just didn't suit or interest him.
On top of that, being directly involved could create a conflict of interest with Golden Phoenix, which also operated in the gaming industry.
