Inside the Imperial study, Emperor Ray and Saintess Lily sat opposite to each other. They both were discussing the recent event.
"Okay, since the matter is handled, I'll take my leave. There's still many matters I need to attend to." Saintess Lily said as she got up and began to leave.
"Lily. Do you really think expelling him was the better choice? I know you aren't the type to wrongfully convict someone. But this is just an excuse, and you know it." Emperor Ray asked, adding a bit of condolence.
Saintess Lily paused for a second at the door before looking back and said in a clearly uncomfortable face,
"I know that, Father. But right now, the Blessed are the priority. You also saw their progress in just a little over half a month. And with these techniques, their growth rate would enhance further that no one ever thought to be possible. This step was necessary... for our future and for our peace."
