#ADRIAN REYNOLDS POV#
"Ok...I have to admit I am rather annoyed right now," I whisper to myself, still a bit miffed at the fact that Irina took Xenovia shopping for some new clothes...even if I do sort of agree that they could both use some new ones
I just wish we didn't really separate...it feels like we are drifting apart...
I shake my head as those thoughts enter my mind and let out a sigh
Irina and Xenovia are the only people my age I can call friends, and I will admit to having a crush on Xenovia. I feel like...
"Oh," I stop as I arrive near a fried seaweed stand in a market
I feel my eyes hone in on the seaweed
Wow, never thought it could smell this good
I get in line and wait for a bit
As I wait, I notice a girl with blonde hair staring at the food, looking dejected and slowly walking away
That's when I notice her outfit
A nun...here
Something in my gut tells me to go after her
I buy some food and begin to make my way toward her as she walks away slowly
"Hey," I start tapping her on the shoulder making her squeek in surprise
"Woah, I am sorry, it's just...I saw you..." I stop as the girl turns to look at me
She has blonde her and bright green eyes
My breath hitches at her eyes
So innocent...
"Hi, may I help you in any...way?" She asks me slowly at the end as her eyes slowly widen
"You speak Italian...oh, can you help me?" She asks me before stopping herself and shaking her head
"Oh, I am so sorry, I didn't mean to come off as rude... It's just..."
"It's alright," I wave her off as she looks embarrassed at the way she reacted
"I am Adrian," I tell her my name, and raise my hand to shake hers
"I am Asia Argento," She smiles shyly while looking at me and slowly shaking my hand
"It's nice to meet you, Asia," I tell her while looking her right in the eyes, and I can't help the feeling of protectiveness that is slowly but surely rising within me
I don't really fight it as we start talking...
"So, you are looking for a place to stay?" I ask her, to which she shakes her head
"Oh no, I am actually looking for the church here, but I have been wandering about for a couple of days now, trying to find it. Would you please help me find it?" She asks me, and I can't quite stop the words that come out of my mouth
"That church is said to be abandoned. If you want, we can go check it out later after I get you a place to stay," I offer before my mind could catch up with what it is saying
I blink several times, along with Asia, as we stare at each other
"I couldn't possibly..."
"IT'S OK," I say rather loudly
"I can easily afford it," I say with a small sweatdrop as I think about my dwindling funds
Damn...I need to get back to doing jobs and replacing the equipment that I lost a few months ago
I may need to be frugal for a few months until I get back to doing the odd job here and there

My eyes widen as I look at Asia crying softly, as if a huge weight just got lifted from her shoulders
She rubs her eyes as she starts breaking down, and I instinctively start hugging her
"Thank you...Thank you so much..." She says as she cries into my chest, and a frown appears on my face as I start calming her down
Why would she be looking for the church in Kuoh?
"Come on, Asia, I am going to get you an apartment at the hotel where I am staying," I tell her, stopping the hug and looking at her as she smiles at me
I smile back as I start guiding her to the hotel
"Where are you from Asia?" I ask her
"I am from Italy," She answers a bit shyly as we keep walking
"Italy..." We talk for a few minutes until we reach the hotel
"Well...let's go to your room and get you set up," I tell her as she lets out a smile that seems to brighten the room
I accompany her to her room and do my best to explain the different Kanji to her but I can tell that it takes a bit more for her to understand
"Thank you so much," She tells me as I open the door
"I paid for this place for 3 weeks and I made sure to pay in advance if you want to order anything," I tell her, giving her the keycard to enter the room and telling her about each of the foods that the hotel delivers to the room
"I...don't know what to say..."
"It will be alright, Asia," I tell her before giving her a brief hug, which she returns slowly
"Now you look tired, how about I order some food delivered so you can rest, huh?" I tell her as she nods with tears forming in her eyes
We eat our food, and soon, I am leaving, and I can tell that Asia wants me to stay here longer
"Hey...Adrian, are you...my friend?" She asks shyly, and I smile at her
"Yes, I am," Which causes her eyes to light up with glee
"I have a friend...I never had a real friend before..." She says, jumping around slightly in happiness
I stay for a few more minutes before she yawns
"Time for bed, goodnight," I tell her with a smile as I take my leave from her room
I smile at the day's events as I walk towards my own room
As I arrive, I can hear Xenovia and Irina arguing about something again
Opening the door, I pause as I see the mess they made in the room
"'She did it,'" They both say as I stare at them
"Clean it up," I order, seriously causing them to flinch
I shake my head and go to my room
I lay down on my bed for a moment before going to change clothes to go to sleep...
#THIRD POV#
"WHERE IS SHE?" A woman with black wings screams
A group of humans is terrified, looking at her and the rest of the Fallen Angels
"We don't know, she never arrived here," A human answers before
"Damn it all," The woman who screamed says looking to the side
"Right after I killed that pervert...fuck"
"Calmed down, at least we managed to get his Sacred Gear," A male fallen angel tells her
"That is fucking worthless, we can't use it," She tells him
"Why not?" A young Fallen Angel asks
"Because Sacred Gear's were meant for humans...the only ones we can use are those that were made imbued by God's power alone," A busty blue-haired Fallen explains, annoyed at having to explain
"Oh...that sucks," The small fallen says with a frown
"It does..."
"FIND THE DAMN NUN..."
