Chapter 18 - ZEPHYRIA

Zephyria, Joel thought as he stood up from the floor in an alley, soaked in blood. Suddenly, a burst of info entered his head, nauseating him. This world is below the main world in cultivation, limited to the pulse realm. Moreover, they only have one affinity, which is the wind essence, which is practised by everyone, Joel thought as he sorted the info in his head.

Then I will use the 20 years I have in this place to train my wind affinity, Joel thought as he walked out of the alley.

On the street, Joel was met with the bustling of a large market. Immediately he entered the market, all eyes were on him, several thought passed their heads about the person that suddenly appeared, and was drenched in blood.

Joel didn't bother with them and headed for the house of the body. Soon, he arrived in a small, dilapidated building that looked like it had been abandoned for over 10 years. He entered, took his bath and changed his clothes.

Coming out, he could finally see the handsomeness of his new body. No wonder several men ganged against him, with a body this perfect, he would have easily broken several marriages.

That is none of my own business, I only want to grow my strength to a high enough stage before my 20-year limit is over.

But first, I have to advance my strength to the awakening realm. Joel sat in a lotus position as he began absorbing wind essence into his core. Although the inhabitants of this world could only use wind affinity, the perk was that they all could use it.

Boom, in less than 24 hours, Jole advanced to the awakening tier. Wind essence swirled around him as they coalesced into his core.

That took longer than when I made my first breakthrough, Joel thought as he remembered how fast he broke through on his main world.

The essence of Zephyria was less than one-tenth thousandth of the main world, so cultivation was far more difficult here.

Swoosh, Joel shot several wind blades towards the outside of his room, and several people were cut by them. Joel had sensed them spying on him since he opened his eyes.

They are likely spies sent by those men to kill me again. How fast rumours spread.

He walked towards them as he searched their bodies for any valuables. He was not going to waste any goods thrown at him. He searched all of them until he saw a pouch on one of them who seemed to be their leader. Counting the gold, he saw 50 pieces in it, enough to feed him and buy him a weapon. This is probably the payment they received to kill me, then I will gladly take it for myself.

Joel walked along the same market as before until he reached a weapon shop.

Clang, the bell rang as Joel opened the door in. He saw the various men walking about, some adding coal to the fire, some hammering on steel, some moulding liquid metal.

Good evening mister, what weapon do you want in our shop, an elderly man said as he approached Joel.
