Lola scoffed, "Really after all this years, you came now when I'm back in zara to ask for forgiveness?" She said Mockingly.
"I know have done wrong by you in so many ways Lola, and also that I'm late I should have come to you sooner, for all this I'm sorry"
"Stop pretending Tade, we both know you're didn't repent of your crime and decided to find because you want to ask for forgiveness, there is a motive for your coming here" Lola said. Of course she knows the man that raised her for 20 years of her life, better than he thought she knows her. "So tell me why are you really here" she asked, not in the mood of exchanging too much words with him.
Tade Toby felt more ashamed, she was right if the Toby's family business as not suddenly decline with most family deciding not to work with them, and cutting ties with them he wouldn't be here. His brothers are already talking about choosing someone else among them as the patriarch of the family after finding out his wife and daughter might be the cause of the problem, Ford Toby is immediate younger brother had claimed he was not worthy as a patriarch of the family because he lacks the charisma, Tade had been angry but he knows the only way he could keep his position as the patriarch and deal with his brother is by solving the problem, thereby he decided to come and ask for forgiveness from his long abandoned stepdaughter.

"Why are you here Tade?" Lola caught him off "I'm at work as you see, and I'm not so idle to listen to your gibberish " Lola was now getting impatient and her anger was starting to boil again.
"I'm sorry I must be hindering your daily activities so I will go straight to the point" Tade Toby apologised "Some days ago I started getting calls from most of the middle class family that we arecin business with and some we are hoping to start working with, they are all saying the same thing that they can't work with us the Toby's family. I knew something must be wrong somewhere, so I used all my connections to find out what really was wrong, it was then I found out Railey and Penellope must have caused trouble for you at Grandpa Gadon's birthday party, I swear didn't know you were there" Tade Toby explained things.
"I don't understand how I'm involved in all this" Lola said with a frown.
"I believe the Gadon family are the cause of everything happening to us, and that's because of what Railey and her daughter did to you at the party" Toby said.
"And why do you think the Gadon family would go that far for me? I'm just a worker in their company " Asked Lola
"I don't know, but rumours had it that Gad Gadon the CEO of the Gadon Steel Company, might like you" Tade said awkwardly to her.
"What?" Lola burst out in laughed. Why does everyone think the same thing when she hasn't even meet this CEO once. But come to think of it with the way things as been going since she got the job, and all the privileges she had and still enjoying it's isn't strange for people to think the CEO might like her, and base on everything this mysterious CEO as done for her, he might be behind this too.
"I'm not sure if that is true, but I will find out, and see what I can do" she said and walk into her office not listening to the praising words of her stepfather.
