Alan set off for his first tier transition mission the next day. According to the guide the guild provided, he had to go to the origin monument to select it.
Unlike the class selection trial, the tasks for the tier transition trial took place in the real world.
Tier transition trials come in 5 different difficulties. From 1 star ranging to 5 stars. The basic rewards for each star are as follows.
1 star - 20 attribute points per attribute.
2 star - 40 attribute points per attribute.
3 star - 60 attribute points per attribute.
4 star - 100 attribute points per attribute.
5 star - 150 attribute points per attribute.
Just like the rewards, the difficulty also increases accordingly for each star mission from 1 to 5 stars as easy, normal, hard, nightmare, and hell.
The attributes were just the basic rewards for successful tier transition. The other rewards varied according to the overall evaluation of the mission which ranged from D to SSS. Anything below that evaluation is deemed as a failure.
Each person can attempt the transition mission 3 times in total. Of which 4 star 5 star is limited to 1 time only.
If one fails a 4 or 5 star mission then they still have 2 more attempts but they could only choose 3 star missions or below.
If one passes a 4 or 5 star mission they will also receive special benefits in the origin shop such as discounts and access to special items not available in normal shops.
But those who successfully passed 4 star missions and above are rare and are only achieved by those with higher element or force mastery.
For Alan these were not any issue. With his combat power he could easily go on head to head with early tier 3 awakeners.
Although his element and force mastery is equivalent to an early tier 4 he only loses out due to the high effective attributes of higher tiers thanks to their tier multipliers.
But completing a 5 star transition mission will be a walk in the park for him.
Alan registered for a tier transition mission. His identity gave him an easy time and he didn't have to wait like others.
He, like planned, chose a 5 star mission from their monument and set off.
His Target for this mission is as follows.

Such a mission may terrify any other tier 1 awakeners but not Alan.
He searched online about the monsters. He found they were found in the tier 2 medium scale dungeon. Unfortunately the dungeon was not among the ones in the dungeon tower. It was under the management of the federation, and was located on the west of the city near the border.
After 1 hour he finally reached his destination. After knowing he is here to complete the legendary 5 star tier transition mission it initially attracted some attention. But it eventually died down as there were always people trying to seek attention by attempting such missions. They thought Alan was among them too.
Alan didn't take this to heart and entered the dungeon.
The dungeon environment looked like a volcanic highland. The temperature was scorching hot and Alan could feel the heat.
Luckily Alan's armour had a special feature that blocked most of the external heat which helped a lot.
He soon found a pair of lions. The lions roamed in pairs a male and a female except for the boss and elites.
The lions had a metallic ash-black colored hide which was as tough as iron. The male had a mane of bristling iron-grey filaments.
They had a very high defence especially the male counterparts whose majestic Mane deflected most of the attacks.
As for their size they had a height of 1.5-1.6 meters and a length of 3-3.2 meters.
Their sharp senses discovered Alan very soon and they launched towards Alan as soon as he was discovered.
For others their breaking their defence would have been a challenge but for Alan who had law fragment stage mastery their defences were almost non-existent.
His wind blade enhanced wind and fire element was enough for them. The female was taken down in one hit while the male survived although with serious injuries.
He took it down with one more attack.
Like that he started hunting down the lions.
He also encountered some elites which had higher defence and metal element infused attacks. They also had wings which made it bothersome to take it down with it flying around. But he managed to take it down.
After 2 hours of bothersome hunt he managed to wipe out all the normal and the elite monsters which completed his first two objectives.
Now since he has eliminated all the normal and elites the boss will be summoned soon.
Then he heard a loud ear deafening roar. It was the boss.
It was huge with a height of 3 meters and a length of 7 meters. It also had wings and its body had an additional metallic shine to it.
It didn't give Alan time to think and launched a beam of metal element infused beam from its mouth towards Alan.
Alan used blink and got out of its path in the nick of time.
Although Alan's damage output is very high, his physical defence was only comparable to tier 1 peak. So he had to evade every attack.
He had a fire element defensive spell but he didn't want to waste his MP by taking a heavy hit against the boss.
"This is interesting…" Alan said as he saw the destruction caused by the beam.
