The bandit leader and his men just started going crazy on the caravan, taking whatever that they fancied and cutting down anyone that messed with them.
But during this, the pair of sharp eyes inside of the carriage just watched everything happen.
That was because it wasn't time for that person to act yet.
It was only when the bandits approached another of the carriages that the owner of those sharp eyes suddenly raised his bow to prepare it.
"Oh, it seems like we're quite lucky. We even managed to find a pair of elves to entertain ourselves with." The bandit leader laughed as he pulled the people that had been inside of the carriage out.
The two elves that had been revealed narrowed their eyes to look at the bandits, but they didn't struggle against them.
Though it wasn't as if the two of them would have been able to do anything against these bandits. The two of them looked like teenagers and that was because they were teenagers that had been traveling to a specific place.
Or they were teenagers when it came to elven lifespan.
It was just that they had been unlucky enough to encounter these bandits.
"Get your hands off me." One of the two elves said after they were dragged out of the carriage.
But even though this elf tried to throw off the hand of the bandit leader, the bandit leader was just too strong for the elf to throw them off. The bandit leader firmly held onto the hand of the elf as he said with a lewd smile, "It seems like she's a feisty one. This one is mine. I like breaking the feisty ones."
The other bandits had a trace of disappointment in their eyes, but they didn't remain disappointed for long as they turned their attention to the other elf that was there.
After all, even if they couldn't have this one, there was still another elf.
Seeing them look at the other elf like this, the bandit leader said, "Make sure not to damage the product when you're having fun."
Though he wasn't letting them go crazy, just letting them have a taste was more than enough for them.
That was why all of the bandits started approaching the other elf with lewd smiles on their faces and their hands were moving in a way that made others sick.
This other elf wasn't as brave as the first elf and seemed to shrink back when she saw this.
The first elf swung her hand again and even raised her other hand in a fist as she said, "If you dare, I'll kill you all!"
But the bandits just ignored her while the bandit leader took this chance to grab her other hand before saying, "Do you really have time to worry about other…"
Before he could finish his words, there was an arrow that flew through the air and stabbed the bandit leader right in the forehead. The bandit leader didn't even know what happened before he fell down dead.
There was still a lewd smile on his face as his body turned cold.
"What happened?" The other bandits said in shocked voices, but there wasn't a single one of them that could answer this.
The next reaction that they had was to hide behind something so they wouldn't be the next target.
But unfortunately for two of the bandits, they hadn't been able to hide in time.
Still, they got off better than the bandit leader since they knew that an arrow was coming. They were able to dodge out of the way in time, which caused the arrow to stab into their shoulders instead of their heads.
"Si!" Though the arrows only stabbed their shoulders, that didn't mean that it didn't hurt since these were still sharp arrows.
At the same time, they were completely incapacitated because of these arrows to the shoulder.
"It's in that direction!" One of the bandits shouted while pointing at one of the carriages.
When the other bandits saw this, they hesitated for a second as they waited for someone to charge out. After all, there wasn't a single one of them that wanted to charge out to be the scapegoat for everyone else.
They knew that the first one to go out would be the one that would have an arrow coming at them.
So in the end, it was one of the injured bandits that was pushed out.
Though he tried to resist, there was nothing that he could do when he had an arrow in his arm like this.
The moment that he came out, there was an arrow that immediately hit him in the forehead.
Once the arrow made contact, the rest of the bandits came out to charge in the direction that the arrow came from.
There were three more arrows that came out, hitting three more bandits in different parts of their body. But in the end, most of the bandits were able to reach the place where the arrow was coming from.
However, the only thing that they were able to find were tracks that led off into the woods.
"Chase after him!" The bandits shouted before heading in that direction.
As soon as they moved, there were arrows that flew at them, but they didn't hesitate to block them.
Now that they had gotten used to the arrows, it was easier for them to block them.
These bandits were veteran bandits and they weren't that weak.
There was silence that followed as the bandits headed into the forest, but they never came back.
Instead, there was a cloaked figure that came out of the forest that came over to the carriages and called for anyone that was still alive.
When he came over, he made sure to shoot the bandits that were injured but still alive to finish them off.
After coming over and gathering everyone, he said, "It's time to move. I've drawn them away, so they won't be back for a while. We need to leave this place as soon as possible."
