Once those women disappeared, there was no one else that dared to cause any more trouble.
The way that they looked at us made it clear that they had an idea of what happened, even if they didn't actually see what happened.
Since they knew that these were the consequences, there wasn't anyone that actually dared to cause trouble with us anymore.
And two days later, we arrived at the nearest town.
When we arrived, the guards were completely caught off guard by our appearances. But they didn't waste any time in arranging people to take care of the ones that were seriously injured.
"You'll have to come with us for a bit. We'll need to ask everyone about what happened." The guards said with serious looks on their faces.
The two high elves seemed like they were worried, but I just patted them on the shoulder to calm them down before saying to the guards, "It's fine, we'll cooperate."
The guards gave appreciative nods before taking us into custody.
