Yin Roulan froze, unsure of how she was supposed to react to Jia Lingyi crying.
This was supposed to be her trick! She was the one who cried all the time, so why did Jia Lingyi steal the script from her?
What the heck was she supposed to do now?
"What ....I....that's not what I meant.....Lingyi you've truly misunderstood me....." Yin Roulan could only try to explain herself in broken words.
"I just want to be a part of Shimmer in peace. I worked hard to get a place in this group and even when the company sacrificed me , I didn't say anything. I felt like I was doing it for all of us. And now I am getting accused like this, how am I supposed to bear with it?" Jia Lingyi cried bitterly.
All three girls were dumbstruck, even Chen Ai no longer had any words to say.
Mei Zixia was the first person to notice the girls standing outside their practice room.
Her eyes lit up in a cold smile as she looked from Jia Lingyi to Yin Roulan.
Yin Roulan....she was no match for Jia Lingyi at all!
Mei Zixia thought to herself that she would have to start making plans for herself as soon as possible.
She didn't want to be caught in the middle of whatever was going to happen between these people.
"What are you guys doing? You know that the company will come for you if they find any negative news about us online right?" Mei Zixia raised her voice as she asked the girls standing outside.
For now, she was still a member of Shimmer. And she didn't want to deal with any scandals.
The girls scurried away as soon as they heard this.
They had thought they were lucky to come across some gossip about Shimmer but they were smart enough not to say anything.
After all, their chance to debut was still on the line.
Yin Roulan grinded her teeth together in anger as she watched the girls run away.
She had always tried her best to portray herself as the kind and weak angel.
And now thanks to Jia Lingyi....who knew what those people thought of her in their hearts?!
Yin Roulan looked at Jia Lingyi, hurt. This time, she really wasn't faking it.
She realized that she had lost this round with Jia Lingyi and she was about to lose her mind!
"Jia Lingyi, you've really misunderstood me. All of us are just doing what's best for the company. There's no need for us to make a scene, don't you think?" She asked her coldly.
Then, without a word, she turned and ran out of the practice room.
Chen Ai, the forever sidekick, looked at Jia Lingyi coldly before she went after Yin Roulan.
Li Mian was conflicted, as she looked at Jia Lingyi, a certain appreciation in her eyes.
"Lingyi....don't mind what happened today. You know Chen Ai has always had a bad temper. Well, the fans are speaking highly of you so I am sure that the rumours about you are going to die down soon!" Li Mian comforted her.
Jia Lingyi nodded her head, and Li Mian followed the other two girls out.
Jia Lingyi stood firm as she watched the only person that was left in the room. Mei Zixia.
Jia Lingyi was sure that she had grasped the personalities of everyone else in the group.
Yin Roulan was spoiled, she wasn't an idiot, however, she tended to look down on people a lot.
And for a person like her ...a little trick would deal with her sooner or later.
Yin Chen would not be able to protect her forever and it would only be a matter of time before she offended someone who would end her career.
Chen Ai was even more stupid, and without Yin Roulan to suck up to, she would fade into obscurity sooner or later.
Perhaps she would become a D list celebrity, fighting for a chance to sing on shows.
And as for Li Mian, the girl had clear eyes, and it was obvious that she was innocent.
As long as she got lucky, she could become popular.
However, were there really so many innocent people in the entertainment industry?.
It would only be a matter of time before she had to wake up to reality.
The only person that Jia Lingyi could not figure out just yet was the woman watching her with a smirk on her face.
Mei Zixia.
At first, she thought that Mei Zixia was on Yin Roulan's side.
However, she realized that she did not try to suck up to Yin Roulan.
She was smart enough to stay out of her way, but Mei Zixia obviously did not think much of her at all.
Just who was this person? And what were her plans?
"Jia Lingyi....you should be careful. Yin Roulan doesn't pose much of a threat, however, her brother is not someone that you want to mess with," Mei Zixia said thoughtfully.
She had thought long and hard about whether she should tell Jia Lingyi this.
However, she decided in the end that it would not hurt for her to make a few more.....friends?
Jia Lingyi was definitely going places. And having this woman on her side was not a bad idea at all.
"Why are you telling me this?" Jia Lingyi could not figure out what was going on in Mei Zixia's head, and that really drove her crazy .
Mei Zixia shrugged.
"Let's just say....that I am rooted for you!"

"Brother, I don't want to see her here anymore! I don't care what you have to do, cancel the contract with her or something! I don't care if we have to pay her compensation, I just don't want to see Jia Lingyi in the entertainment industry anymore!"
Yin Roulan shouted as she barged into her brother's room.
She really could not stand it anymore!
She had taken a peek at the trending searches on the internet before she came here and the comments were all supporting Jia Lingyi!
What right did she have, what right did she have to be so loved by everyone else?!
