Location: Zurich – Private Military Hangar, Nightfall
A private jet roared to a halt under the moonlight, the emblem of House Cross faintly visible on the tail. Damien stepped out, his coat whipping in the icy wind. Beside him, Elira walked with a secure briefcase handcuffed to her wrist. Inside it: the biometric access key, and centuries of secrets.
Victor was already waiting—clad in black, flanked by his second-in-command, Commander Darius.
Neither man smiled.
"You came," Victor said, voice unreadable.
"I always finish what I start," Damien replied.
For a second, silence stood between them like a third figure. Then Damien extended his hand.
Victor stared at it.
And shook it.

Location: Vault Entrance – Swiss Alps, Underground Level 7
The biometric scanner lit up as both men pressed their palms onto the dual sensors. A low hum rumbled beneath their feet. The vault doors shuddered… then slowly began to open.
Inside was not just gold or weapons or classified tech.
It was history.
Footage. Ledgers. Letters. Blackmail. Alliances. Wars plotted and betrayed by the ancestors of both the Kane and Cross families.
Elira gasped. "This isn't just a vault. It's leverage over the world."
Victor's eyes narrowed. "Now you see why they kept us enemies."
Damien reached for a sealed black case at the center. "And why we can never let this fall into the wrong hands again."

Location: Unknown – Surveillance Hub
A figure watched them through a satellite feed.
"Operation Sigma is compromised," the voice said through a comm.
"Should we eliminate both targets?"
"No," came the reply. "Let them unify. Let them think they've won. The real war hasn't even started."

Location: Back at Zurich – Temporary Safehouse
Damien sat across from Victor, the briefcase between them now split open with mapped influence charts.
"We'll need to move fast," Damien said. "If word gets out that we've merged the bloodlines—"
"—we'll be hunted by every major family still clinging to power," Victor finished.
Nora entered the room then, her expression unreadable. "There's already chatter. Tavara, Eldrith, even southern European families are regrouping."
Damien looked up. "Then let them come. We're not hiding anymore."
Victor smirked faintly. "Guess you really are your father's son."
Damien returned it. "And you? You're a Kane. Whether you like it or not."
Victor stood. "Then let's make our legacy one the world will never forget."
