As Arthas fell silent, pondering Syr's words, a group of over ten people entered the tavern. Perhaps they had a reservation; they were led to a large empty table diagonally opposite Arthas.
This was clearly a large Familia of adventurers, all seemingly powerful…
Their arrival caused a momentary hush, followed by an unsettling silence.
Arthas's heart suddenly pounded.
Entering his vision, like a sudden assault, was a woman with gentle, emerald green hair.
Her delicate features seemed fragile, possessing an elegance rarely seen even among the beautiful elves. She held herself with grace and composure, standing amidst the crowd like a noble princess, commanding reverence.
Her eyes, the same color as her hair, remained on her companions, with a motherly gaze.
Her brow remained unfurrowed, her entire being radiating a strong maternal aura.
Syr had just mentioned "excitement," and now this woman, the second to make Arthas feel that way (excluding Hestia), appeared.
Perhaps "excitement" wasn't the right word for Hestia; being with her simply gave Arthas peace of mind.
Riveria Ljos Alf was the first to truly evoke that feeling of excitement.
"…Hey."
"Whoa! A beautiful woman!"
"Idiot, not that. Look at the emblem."
"…Um."
When the patrons realized they were members of the Loki Familia, a different kind of noise erupted.
They huddled together, whispering.
"That's…" "…The 'Familia' of the Giant Slayer." "Aren't those all Level 1 adventurers?" "Which one is the legendary 'Sword Princess'?"
All the murmuring voices held a hint of awe. Some whistled at Riveria Ljos Alf, Wallenstein, and the other female members.
"Syr."
As Syr watched the Loki Familia members with admiration, Arthas's voice suddenly sounded in her ear.
"Yes… what is it, Arthas?"
Finding Arthas's demeanor strange, Syr tilted her head curiously.
"Syr mentioned excitement, right? If you feel it… shouldn't you boldly pursue it?"
"Well… that's true, but most people don't have the courage. After all…"
Syr smiled wryly. Not everything could be obtained through effort.
Cinderella and Prince Charming only existed in fairy tales.
Syr was lost in thought when the tavern's quiet was again broken by a boisterous voice.
"Hooray, the Dungeon expedition is over! Let's celebrate! Drink up!!"
Someone from the Loki Familia stood up and started the celebration. From their position, Syr and Arthas could only see her back.
The Loki Familia members began to make merry. They clinked beer mugs together, heartily devouring food and drink. Riveria Ljos Alf, being an elf, didn't like the rich food, sipping a fruity drink. Once the Loki Familia members were in full swing, the other patrons resumed their own celebrations.
"The Loki Familia are regulars here. The owner, Mia, is a friend of theirs."
"Um… Arthas, are you listening?"
Seeing Arthas lost in thought, Syr waved her hand in front of him.
What's wrong? Is he captivated by the beautiful women? Though the Loki Familia women are indeed beautiful.
As Syr thought this, Arthas suddenly stood up and walked towards the Loki Familia.
"Ais… what's your relationship with that guy?!"
Downing two large cups of alcohol, the beastman who had angrily attacked Arthas in the Dungeon glared at Wallenstein.
"Just a chance encounter."
Wallenstein replied nonchalantly, but the beastman was unsatisfied. He slammed his fist on the table, raising his voice.
"Don't joke! If it was just a chance encounter, why were you holding his hand?!"
The commotion from the Loki Familia's table created another strange atmosphere. Other adventurers stopped what they were doing and listened curiously.
Who was this lucky adventurer who had Aisha Wallenstein holding his hand?
"Because it felt comfortable."
The somewhat simple-minded girl answered honestly, but this answer wasn't satisfactory. It angered not only the beastman but also the other adventurers.
The renowned Sword Princess was intimate with a stranger she'd just met, using suggestive language.
Riveria Ljos Alf facepalmed. She was helpless at Wallenstein's straightforwardness, but also annoyed that Bete was bringing this up again in public.
This matter was over; it was a secret among them. Bete had to bring it up, embarrassing both Wallenstein and herself.
She had been equally intimate with Arthas.
Thinking this, Riveria Ljos Alf blushed.
"So… you two really have a special relationship! What's so great about him? Why would you like such an unknown adventurer?!"
"I'm infinitely stronger than him! A Level 1 and a Level 5—if you had to choose a partner, it's obvious, right?!"
Bete, agitated by Wallenstein's answer, stood up, leaning across the table towards Wallenstein, demanding an answer.
